I thought the place was abandoned. Bathroom seemed clean but not the room itself. No breakfast as advertised.

Room not clean. Poor insulation. Unsatisfactory breakfast. We were not satisfied with our stay at the Margaretville Motel. The manager, issued a full refund. Today is 1/28/25 and our refund has not been received.

It was clean when we arrived

Mice very bad. In my moms hair in bed in middle of night. Mouse poop all over table in morning the last 2 mornings. One of the neighbors at hotel smashed my taillights on my trailer and left without telling me.

Location

First I was given incorrect check-in information. When I got into the room, it looked like there was either mouse poop or dead bugs on the floor. I didn¿t stay, I wound up finding another cleaner hotel.

The sheets and towels had a freshly bleached scent, and were white.

This motel was EXTREMELY overpriced. It was essentially a flea bag - but we had had a full day of bike riding and had left accommodations to the last minute (our fault).

good location. Parking is close to the room well communication with the owner(or staff) It has micro oven, coffee maker, table, TV, etc, and hot water and heating work pretty well. What can I expect more. I didn't expect 5-star hotel service from this

The staff was very friendly, the room was basic but clean, and the continental breakfast offered in the morning was nice.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The breakfast had a wide variety of selections. The room was clean, arranged nicely, comfortable environment.

The mattress was a bit soft for our liking but otherwise a great night's stay!

Their location in proximity to Roxbury was the only redeeming factor for this hotel

This motel was in pathetic condition. Toilet in my room was propped up with a wooden stick because subfloor under the linoleum decayed and the toilet was tipping over. TV didn't work in Mom's room. Front desk did nothing

There was nothing to like. The conditions were deplorable. You should not offer this motel to anyone. Their was no staff at all in attendance.

Bates Motel is nicer!!!

Self checkin did not work for all members of our family & no management on site to help. Couldn’t get in rooms. 2 family members left after trying to contact help for 2 hours. Mildew smelling rooms and no hot water for shower.

Only problem was toilet didn’t flush no biggie I fixed the flapper chain myself

Nothing. Other than the fact I had a place to sleep, this was a horrible experience.

I have pictures I can share. But the place was filthy. I even called asking about early check in and they said they would charge an extra $25 in order to properly clean the room. The fan had huge clumps of dust and spiderwebs hanging off the blades, the room smelled of mildew/mold/water. The hot water went out so we couldn’t take a shower or properly wash our hands. They offered to send us to another location to shower but we just wanted to get the he’ll out of there. We saw no staff the whole time, the emergency number, no one responded in the evening when we needed them. The ceiling had a hole and their fix was to shove toilet paper in it. The tv remote was held together by tape so the batteries kept failing out. I hated my stay here.
