Pros +
- It was close to las vegas,Mesquite and valley of fire. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The people were all very nice and helpful. When we stay in Vegas we have to lug our luggage from the parking lot and then to our room after we check in.
- Location is nicely situated but it is out in the open so if anyone wanted to mess with your car, there’s nothing stopping them. Other than the floor, it seemed clean enough.
- We liked that we were close to The Valley of Fire state park. We drove about 10 minutes to find dinner, easy on and off the highway from the hotel.
Cons -
- Not at this time.
- The water was at best lukewarm - colder than my body temp which sucks for a shower or to clean anything. The bed squeaked, the pillows were thin and ridiculous, the bathroom sink faucet was missing the insert so it just spit water everywhere, the fridge had been unplugged and had a ick smell to it. The hvac was indeed loud enough to wake the dead but it did drowned out the traffic noise so that was something but it didn’t stay on the whole time so it woke me when it cycled on and off. The people were probably not getting paid enough to be nicer and there’s no indication that you have to check in at the gas station - I learned of this from another review. Honestly, had I just taken the other reviews seriously, I could have avoided this.

Convenience on my drive
Seemed unsafe, not super clean, patio furniture was inside vs. regular furniture. Very cheap furniture for the price paid
There wan NO coffee in the room and NO breakfast. There was no restaurant and no place to get breakfast.
There could have been coffee in the room and breakfast.
We go to the clark county fair every year from LV. This year we decided to get the room to not have to drive the hour back after being in the sun, walking and drinking all day. It was well worth it!! We will be doing this every year.
I know it doesn't look like much on the outside, but our room was spacious, wood floors, clean, the toilet, and shower separate from the sink. Which is perfect for two women trying to get ready at the same time. And the little room with the sink was comfortably big enough for 2 people. And had storage space.
Room was clean and bedding was very comfortable.Restaurant next door was very good.
Stingy on soap, no conditioner, no response for request for more. TV was messed up, couldn't use.Price high for what it was worth. No coffee in room.
The room was what we needed. We needed a place to sleep while on a road trip. We didn't need much but simply a comfortable bed to sleep in with a place to wash up. We slept well and got back on the road.
Neither Google Maps nor Apple Maps could direct us to the Moapa Motel. Google Maps took us to Mesquit, about 25 miles away, on I-70 east only to take us off the hwy to make a U-turn and get back on I-70 west. We changed to Apple Maps. When we got back to the Glendale/Moapa exit, Apple Maps had us exit & told us to turn left under the bridge. When we went under I-70, it told us to U-turn & again go East on I-70. We decided to stop & ask at the gas station on that exit. Fortunately, the attendant knew where the motel was & gave us good directions to get there. It was only a mile away.I recommend the owners get in contact with both Google Maps and Apple Maps to make sure they have better directions into the systems.
Super clean and soft towels Super nice staff at the StoreNice to offer one free cup of coffee at check out, over at the store
Toilet stopped working No coffee pot in the roomThere is no hot water in the sinkHard pillows and small bad mattress
The room was clean and bed comfortable
The light in the bathroom didn’t work and there was no water in the mornings. Not sure if the pipes froze?
While the hotel was right off the highway and you had to check into the gas station across the way to get into the hotel
The room was clean and the air-conditioner worked.
We tried to check in at 10.40pm (earlier in the day we had alerted the operator that we would be arriving between 10pm and 11pm). Cashier in convenience store refused to open the door to allow us to check in (we found out later that he was counting cash in preparation for the shift change). We had to wait until after 11pm to access the store and obtain the keypad code (which could have been emailed to us in advance as other motel operators have done for us). - overpriced!- poor communication- bare, basic room - the worst we have experienced in three weeks travelling around the USA- light bulb above sink did not work - very difficult to shave and clean teeth in the dark- operators are not fit to run a motel and should get out of this industry
Too expensive for poor quality
Extremely loud airco. While it is impossible to sleep when it’s on, the heat becomes a challenge when it’s off. No coffee or tea available in the room.Wifi is occasionally unstable.Isolated location with just fuel station from same owner next door.
Adequate for a budget business trip
Odd layout, only 1 bed, staff indifferent. Prices are high everywhere now, but normally would expect to pay less for this level, but inflation is throwing everything off I get it
Parking place next to your room. On the half way from Yellowstone to Las Vegas.
- check-in on the gas station- the room was clean for first look but then we found used soap bar in the shower- just right next to highway- room facilities is really poor- it's overpriced
The place is a classic mid-century roadside motel that has been really nicely freshened up inside. We were in the area attending the County Fair, about 10 minutes from the hotel. The place was easy to find, check in was simple, and the room was spotlessly clean. Beds and linens were clean, good quality, and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, and a great water pressure in the shower. 100% what we needed.
We were off and out early the following g morning, so didn’t really need any facilities other than the fridge, but if we’d been staying longer I’d have liked a coffee machine and a microwave. That said, the place belongs to the gas station next door, so there are facilities there.
The rooms were big and the bed was nice
It was next to the road so a little noisy. Also, there was no microwave in the room
This Motel is close to the Valley of Fire, which is convenient
The motel itself is vintage and has a great look from the outside, unfortunately the furniture is all folding chairs and outdoor tables put indoors.
It was very quiet. Staff was very helpful and courteous.
The deodorizer they used in the room was very strong.
