- The rooms are a bit dated. Very minimal interaction w/staff...no front desk for check in. Breakfast is really good. Location is good. Just needs a bit of updating in rooms..particularly bathroom / shower.

The grounds were lovely, it was very peaceful and a relaxing place to stay. The furnishings were nice and a lovely breakfast was provided.

Room was unreasonably hot.Check in and check out felt "rushed". I am paying good money for a room...Can you let me enjoy it? I don't want your staff rushing around cleaning and turning rooms around me while I am trying to enjoy my room and morning coffee.

Interesting character and history. Well appointed, pleasing facility.
OUr room was one of the oldest historic rooms, but the inn had been built around that room, leaving it virtually like a cave. Very dark and closed in feeling. I am certain from looking around, there are many other more pleasing, open, light rooms.
Setting of facility is picturesque - place is charming!
Entrance to property is single lane - had to back up and squeeze through a couple of times
Breakfast was as amazing as a breakfast can be.
