Our two bed room was huge and in immaculate condition. Water pressure in the shower was more than adequate and the one story lodge eliminated the need to lug our belongings up the stairs. The retro look added a nice touch.
For a 2-star motel in small town Raton, N.M. I was impressed on how clean the room was and everything was in working order. Comfortable room, and the check in process was easy and the lady checking me in was so professional and nice!!

Cons -

The beds were a bit too firm but we had a comfortable night's sleep, nevertheless.
It was a blizzard, two storms hit one after the other that was the only thing wrong due to me traveling in it, the room was great for a small town.

It was clean, comfortable, and the staff stayed later for our arrival. The room had a nice mid-century vibe. Loved being able to back in right in front of our room. This is one of those great revived 50's-like motels that I stayed on the road as a child.
