    • Character, warmth, view, breakfast
    • It was so adorable! Our hosts Angel and Grace were excellent!
    • Breakfast

    Cons -

    • The owner/chef was not friendly almost to the point of rude when he didn't allow my 4 year old eat in the room because of "expensive" bedding. No air con in bathroom, small rooms, no TV. Questionable housekeeping/cleaning. Breakfast overrated.
    • That we couldn't stay longer!
    • Room a little small.

I'd recommend Follansbee Inn. I like the friendly atmosphere and the decor. The staff were helpful. The surrounding countryside was stunning when it snowed today. I enjoyed watching football at the Flying Goose.

The bed wasn't the best for my back. I'd wished there was water in my room as it's a big trek from the third floor to first floor bar. It'd have been great to have a little cookie or fruit in the afternoon other than chocolate. These are minor wishes. Enjoyed my stay.

An exceptional retreat, defined by its accommodating staff and friendly owners. We are returning guests, drawn back by the unrivaled comfort of the beds and the daily indulgence of a luscious, homemade breakfast. Our latest stay, coinciding with the holidays, was breathtaking. The inn was impeccably decorated for Christmas, warmed by roaring fires, and gifted with a bonus of snow that delivered a truly perfect New England white Christmas. Pure magic.

very quiet location on a small lake. Breakfast was wonderful and chatting with other guests was enjoyable. We stayed in a small room but the accommodation was comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend for a calming weekend getaway.

A few more selections for breakfast. I am sure if we asked they would have been able to have accommodated our preferences. It was a first stay in a B and B so we need to be more knowledgeable of the ins and outs of B and B's.

I loved the breakfast that was made. It was so good. The hosts were lovely and the room was comfortable and they had some of the best tap water I’ve had in a while.

Wonderful breakfast with so many options. Loved the steel cut oatmeal, fresh fruit, smoothies, choice of eggs. Availability of kayaks, etc and access to the lake is great. Chocolate snacks! Roomy bathroom. Grace, the dog!

Our bed could have been a bit more comfy, and the overhead fan didn't have a low enough setting for us.

Such a beautiful, historical place, built in 1840, but maintained so well by Dennis and Kendall. There are so many pieces of art and antique ones throughout the inn! The dinning room is like a museum on its own, and the food served there by Dennis is a rare find in a inn. We were served Lorraine quiche cooked to perfection, and maple glazed potatoes, oats baked with berries, fresh cherries and kiwi. The food was delicious! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Also, the inn provides canoes, kayaks and bikes. We canoed on Kezar Lake in front of the inn. Very enjoyable! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Breakfast was spectacular!!!!!! 10/10 highly recommend for the breakfast alone. Our room was clean and cozy.

The church bells from the church next door were quaint but go off on the half hour from 8am to 10pm. Quaint but annoying when you’re trying to sleep/nap.

The property is historical and the house is well maintained both inside and outside. It sits on a beautiful lake with a very walkable path around it ! Just a dream ! The breakfast was over the top! Totally Gourmet !!And we found the best coffee shop in Warner, NH. It was in the inn's book of recommended coffee shops. Cafe One East has the best bakery and lattes. With good coffee, we had everything

There is a need for some maintenance in some of the rooms. No leaks, no water problems. Just little nuisance items like the bracket that connects the shower curtain to the ceiling was very very loose. A small issue. Overall, we LOVED our stay!!

The Follansbee Inn B&B is a lovely property sitting on the edge of Lake Kezar, in North Sutton, NH. A gourmet breakfast was served each day with nice options for gluten-free and dairy-free dietary restrictions. The innkeepers, Denis and Kendall, are so gracious and accommodating! The rooms are each distinctive and comfortable. The Inn offers recreational bikes, helmets, kayaks, canoes, paddles, and life jackets at no additional charge to make sure guests get the most enjoyment from their visit. The location is a short 10-minute drive to nearby New London, which has plenty of dining options.

Breakfast was excellent. They were very accommodating to my special dietary needs. The location on the lake is wonderful and they offer kayaks, etc for patron use. The building is beautiful and very well maintained. The outside and inside common areas are comfortable and beautiful. They are very accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed.

The bathroom in our room was very small, but kind of expected in an old building. There is really nothing not to like when they provide bowls of chocolate for you at every turn!

Breakfast of Brie Apple walnut crepe plus plus plus was exceptional

bathroom facilities, while functional, could use updating

    10TheresePosted on: 5-18-2025

The hosts were exceptional, kind, generous and helpful. Denis’ homemade gourmet breakfasts, different everyday, are a real treat! The peaceful lake and art/antique filled rooms create a gentle retreat for all ages.

That I did not have more time to stay! I will return.

Beautiful setting - lovely and welcoming. Plenty of space to relax. Fabulous breakfast with home made muesli. Lots of great coffee!

It was a really great experience so no issues at all!

Lovely old inn! Comfortable accommodations and the breakfasts were the best! Also loved the inn dogs. The inn house concert was awesome with great foods!

    Can't think of a thing!

Great for folks who love antique homes in a beautiful place.

Bed was a bit hard. Other than that it was great.

    10NicolePosted on: 2-11-2025

The home was quaint in a cute little town. The room was beautiful and cozy. I missed out on the breakfast, but was able to grab a few snacks and coffee, on my way out, to leave for work. The innkeeper was such a warm hostess!

    I can’t think of anything!
