    Cons -

    • yes, the hotel advertised that they have a complementary airport shuttle. When requesting transportation from the airport, the front desk person said they don't provide a shuttle. Even its listed as an amenity,
    • Nice room but with a small, Old tv. Remote didn’t work, batteries dead and wasn’t a smart tv so only thing on it was crappy local tv. At this price point I would expect a tv that isn’t 10 years old.
    • Roon smelled, bed was upstairs, small bathroom, no elevator to second floor, couch was stained.

    the bed

no pool or hot tub. restaurant menu very limited. hotel overall seemed cold and run down

    10Verified guestPosted on: 11-14-2025

Great location just a couple of blocks from the Orpheum Theater and restaurants. Attentive and helpful customer service. The staff provided us with a king-bed room even though our reservation was for a queen-bed room.

Each evening the hotel provides milk and cookies at 8:00 pm. During our stay, the sugar cookies were rock hard / unappetizing.

It was gorgeous inside and out. We can see why people get married at this location.

Parking not included. We did not know this until we checked in. $30 a night seems very steep.

Did not seem like a 4-star hotel. While I realize it is a historic building, everything seemed very poorly maintained and cleaned. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and my daughter’s blanket smelled very bad when we got home.

    Beautiful lobby area

Hard to access with a wheelchair, shower too narrow

    10RobertPosted on: 6-10-2025

Great location, friendly staff, excellent restaurant, and elegant public spaces.

I was disappointed that complementary water was not available in the room. (This is a courtesy frequently offered by hotels at this level.)

Couldn't take a bath without shower constantly running. Bathroom floor dusty, dirty, towels stained with neon orange. Elevators might have been the very first installed and never updated since.

    6DylanPosted on: 3-11-2025

    The lobby

The room had several issues which could have been fixed relatively easily. Toilet flush handle didn't work, thermostat battery needed changed, Light over the coffee bar area needed was loose, the trim over the bathroom door hardware was missing a piece

    9JillianPosted on: 3-4-2025

    The character and space overall.

The bathroom was not private with the door that was used. It slides and doesn?t close all the way, also the handles were on backwards

    Location

Had to pay $30 for parking . Then was charged for the room twice

    Staff, music, location, bar!

    8TiffanyPosted on: 5-25-2024

    Secluded and quiet

Front desk seemed lost. No fan or dim light option in room. Referred to my wife as "sir". Left a room service tray in the hallway for our entire stay. Gratuity added to our room service bill.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-29-2023

    That it didn¿t have carpet.

The bathroom was pretty gross. The sink had not been cleaned. There were no napkins, tissues, etc in the kitchen area. There also was no trash can. When my kid took a bath little black stubble hairs were floating in the tub with them. Yuck.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 2-28-2023

The history of the hotel is interesting and there are a lot of interesting building characteristics.

Cleanliness was poor. Dirty floors, trash under the TV stand, bathroom had hair on the toilet, the comforter was dirty / stained. Lightbulbs burnt out. Cleanliness should not reflect hotels age. Parking was $25 for the short amount we were there.

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 1-29-2023

The location is amazing. The loft room was very cool. Definitely recommend.

Our room was missing some items. When requested, we ended up going to get them ourselves. The front desk ¿forgot¿ each time.

    10ChristiaPosted on: 11-17-2022

The staff were super friendly, helpful and kind. I hope you take care of them at Xmas with a bonus because without them this place would be just another hotel. The rooms were spotless, what about leaving an envelope in the room to remind the guests how

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-7-2022

    Location, character

Ongoing construction, front desk staff were not particularly helpful and didn¿t tell us there would be an extra charge for parking until after we did it. Room was run down and stained
