    Pros +

    • The rooms seem to be newly remodeled but they were a bit dark. It would seem that not all the furnishings were placed back in the room after the remodel. It was a cheap price.
    • Horrible...looked unsafe to even park. We left the room--after paying and found another very nearby. Check in staff at second Motel (Best Western Plus) was VERY aware of the poor quality of the Motel we initially booked. We wasted $$..
    • The hotel was near the zoo and museums we were visiting. The staff was polite.

    Cons -

    • The hotel smelled. The carpet was stained throughout the hallways. The mini fridge did not work. No iron, no coffee pot, but coffee cups.??
    • This motel seemed to be in a "sketchy" part of town. It seemed to be a dorm for single young men, most walking around without many clothes on. There was not a lot of parking. The hallways were very dark and smelled of smoke.
    • Dirty, people smoking IN THE HALLWAYS, stinky, kids running in and out of the door that possibly live there or nearby. Horrible area... Had no idea it could be so bad and yet was within sight of the Best Western that we luckily found with room for us.

the closed caption didn't work on the tv. the bathroom was extremely small got a big person like me. the shelves or dresser whatever they called it isn't safe for my kids and they could've gotten hurt if it fell. no desk. no dresser. a.c. sucked.

The hotel was near the zoo and museums we were visiting. The staff was polite.

The pictures made the place look more inviting and some of the pictures were not even from this location. Reservations said we would have fridge and coffee pot but had neither. The pool was really worn down and the edges needed cleaned.

Easy on and off interstate 80

Location of hotel was sketchy. Located behind warehouses. Room was dirty and the whole hotel smelled Pool was dingy and the water looked murky.

    the location

It smell like it was old when, I check in. In the bath room there was not enough towels and the towels rack was broken.

    4CaitlinPosted on: 11-14-2015

    Price and dog friendly

The key entry to the motel was broken and so was the lock so anyone could waltz right in which was scary. There was a sign on the room door urging us to lock the deadbolt and other lock for our safety which was concerning and swing lock was flimsy

The rooms were OK for the price

We had 4 kids in swimsuits, they went and asked for their own towels. Went and asked somebody to unlock pool they said ok we waited then when we asked again they said it was closed for maintenance. We packed up to leave . There is more

I liked that I was in Omaha and had other options.

Not only is this in an obscure location with signs saying 'not responsible for theft' doesn't turn you off, the dimly lit hallways will. If you still are brave, the rooms and lack of attention will turn you away. Gross beyond gross. I like to camp too..

    Disappointed disgusting and atrocious

There were roaches crawling on the curtains, mold all over the exterior shower curtain, there was rust all over the door facings/jams, the smell of marijuana was pungent, the carpets were disgustingly filthy and sticky, the electric outlet in the bathroom was shorting out and only worked sometimes. The staff were disrespectful and rude, the language barrier was horrendous and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!

The smelly rooms not much places to put things

The desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The room had a mini-refrigerator and microwave oven, which I did not expect. The sink and faucet appeared to be fairly new. I arrived on a warm day, and it was nice to find that the A/C in the room was already running and the room was cool. All of the lights appeared to be fairly new LED fixtures. The room had a combination dresser/desk under the TV and a sturdy table in one corner near the fridge and microwave. The TV worked well. The room was stocked with a hand towel, a wash cloth, 2 bath towels, a bath mat, 2 bars of soap, and 2 nearly-full rolls of toilet paper. There are several restaurants close by (I went to Village Inn and Taco Bell) and a Casey's gas station & convenience store. Easy access to Interstates 80 & 680, US 275.

I had a little trouble finding the motel the first night because I arrived very late. Their sign was not lit up and is up so high that my car headlights did not hit it. Even though the room lights were very nice white LED type, I found myself wishing that the ones in the main part of the room were a little bit brighter. (The ones in the toilet/shower and sink areas were excellent.) The shower head was either a low flow design or possibly partly plugged as it didn't seem to deliver quite as much water as I would have liked.

    Worst hotel stay ever

Unable to take a bath no tub stopper. Tub disgusting as well rust stained. Internet went in and out. I left after about two hours. They didn't offer a refund and the front desk guy barely spoke English.

    2ArmstrongPosted on: 8-18-2025

    I will not stay there...

The carpeting was filthy. The location sucked. The furniture was cheap and I could see the plumbing exposed in the shower.
