Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Swansboro Near Camp Lejeune

No bugs as mentioned by other patrons. My visit was in Feb though, so its likely they aren?t out right now.

People smoking right at the front entrance, multiple times throughout my stay. The elevator is obnoxiously loud, do not stay near the elevator. The towels, washcloths, and pillows are in need of replacing. Rooms smell fine, funky smell everywhere else.

The bathroom was NOT cleaned and all of the last guest?s garbage was in there. There were tree branches banging against our window starting at 1:35 a.m. Very disappointing wedding anniversary stay.

Brkfst room furniture torn and dirty. Pool was closed, but guests used it at all times.

The lady covering the front desk, she was fantastic and very helpful with all my questions!

The noise from the room above me kept me awake all night and no one was able to help. They gave me points and I dont even know how to use them and no one explained the points to me.

I visit NC every three or months and I always stay at this hotel. I¿ve never had any complaints before but this last time I was somewhat disappointed. I walked into the room and as I usually do I inspected everything. Not as clean as before!

I found garbage in the waste paper basket and the toilet was not cleaned properly.

The room was overall clean, although the corners of the shower could stand closer attention and some scrubbing in my opinion. I did appreciate and take advantage of the hot cocoa bar and the night time cookies that were available!

I definitely did not appreciate or enjoy the absence of hot water the morning of my departure. A cold shower was not what I was anticipating or expecting at all.

Police banged on door 2x 5:15 in morning and woke us up due to reports of domestic disturbances from our room which there was none. Door locked broke 2 times. Vent cover in bathroom fell down. And mini fridge froze all food.

The rooms were comfortable. The staff was very nice. Shout out to Drew at the front desk. He has excellent customer service skills.

Ultimately, our experience ended up being fine. Location was really great & rooms were clean.

Dogs. When we first checked in, after getting off the elevator, dogs barking & whining could be heard. Lucky Us, the dog was directly across from our room. They moved us to a different room, different floor. All good will this room flooded due to rain.

The hotel was nice clean and the staff were helpful. I had no issues with the building itself or our room.

We had a couple of incidents when we stayed. We were there for a wedding and my whole family was staying. Security needs improvement and locking the back door after hours would have helped!

Location

Low water pressure on the 3rd floor. Water is not hot enough, especially when multiple people are taking showers.

The staff was amazing! Very accommodating to our needs.

The beds were very uncomfortable and the pull out sofa was like laying on springs.

Hotel is centrally located near just about everything. The amenities are great (outside pool, free breakfast every morning & parking). Our King size suite was very clean & spacious. The staff was very friendly & helpful with suggestions on things to do.

No complaints. Tens across the board!

Clean and open. Location close to the Bay and Beach.

My stay was enjoyable and didn't have any negative experiences.

There was no hot water in my room on Friday night to Saturday at check out Saturday. My room was not cleaned at all during my stay. I had to ask for someone to empty trash and get towels. There was a pillow on the bed that had melted candy on the pillow.

We love coming to Swansboro. This only place we stay. Pool is alway open and rooms are very clean. Staff is very nice always willing to help if need anything
