TownePlace Suites by Marriott Raleigh-University Area

location, the rooms, and the amenities.

The location was great; the staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel was very clean and quiet. will definitely stay there again!

Nice suite. Comfy bed. Clean. Close to freeway. Water refill station. Free parking. Free breakfast. Gluten free muffin.

Every time someone flushed a toilet I heard the sewage running in the pipes in the walls. Shower took a really really long time to get hot. Floor space was a little small to open two large suitcases. No gluten free hot cooked options!

GREAT BREAKFAST

Use of space

This was a brand new hotel and absolutely beautiful. It would be difficult to find anything wrong.

Nothing. Thank you.

Kathy. Staff. Well appointed, grill etc! Accommodating

I love the location, clean quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was good and cleanliness of the area. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I will be returning.

Only one problem was the parking spaces.

The breakfast was great, there was many different choices. Customer service was exceptional from checking in, going to the restaurant, and checking out! I will definitely stay here again.

Kitchenette was clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Liked the closet inserts.

Friendly and helpful service, well designed rooms, proximity to NC State.

Breakfast selections.

comfortable

they charged my card $250 and said i was smoking when i wasn’t i don’t even smoke .

It was spacious and clean. I loved all the extra mirrors, outlets, lighting, and space. It made it easier and more accommodating for multiple people to get ready at one time.

The shower didn't drain as quickly as I'd like. Therefore, water was standing at the bottom of the tub.

Very clean and spacious room. Hotel was very clean. Loved the fitness gym.

Great breakfast. Very nice exercise room. Pleasant staff.

Location

We specifically booked this location because of the outdoor fire pit and it wasn’t working. Very disappointed!

Friendly staff and thoughtfully designed room.

The mattress wasn’t comfortable at all. Didn’t sleep well.

Very lovely check in process with super friendly and helpful team member. Room was a lovely suprise and was well equipped and perfectly clean! A superb stay.

Lovely big room, comfortable mattresses. Great to have tables at all sides of beds! Nice furnishings, good kitchen. Great staff!!

Exhaust fan in bathroom was very dusty.Pillows were very mushy (but this is common to most hotels). The free breakfast offering was so-so: Cold boiled eggs were very rubbery, low bread selection, hot items did not qualify this for a full hot American breakfast as advertised.

Convenience, clean, suite style room and pet friendly
