Hampton Inn & Suites Forest City

This was my 3rd year at this hotel. I was placed in a room where the windows were blocked by a huge concrete block. And was definitely set up for handicap ♿️ access. I asked hotel to change from a 2 queen bed room to a king, which they were not willing.

Pool was closed. Community computers did not work

Modern, spacious, clean

The electric controller for the window shades is weird and doesn't work right. We don't need this. Just use shades that don't need electricity and motors.

Location was great very close to family and good places too eat. Hotel was excellent. The young lady at front desk was very friendly the lady working in dining room was very helping great serving breakfast. Will definitely come back.

We heard every step the people above us took. Shouldn't be assigned a room directly above. Outside windows are NOT sound deterrent. We heard every car that went by, especially the ones racing. Soap scum present (pink) a around shower doors. Otherwise a

Clean and staff always friendly Excellent breakfast!

The staff was great. Always greeted us in a friendly manner and they liked Grant, our dog, who stayed with us.

One of the elevators had a problem stopping at one of the floors.

The employees were great. They helped me get into the room earlier than expected. I can just moved from the Quality Inn and I never want to stay there again.

Housekeeping did't come and remove my trash and give me clean linens, but the front desk gave me what I needed. The cleaning of the room was overlooked, because I added another day.

It was a very clean hotel and had pretty decor. All staff including the women who helped with the breakfast buffet were very friendly.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is friendly and coffee is good!

Living in Raleigh, I found the nearly complete lack of mask-wearing by guests and staff a bit disconcerting. We are aware of how widespread Covid is in the area and were surprised that businesses are not doing all they can to minimize it. Please do better

Very clean and inviting

The barn door on the bathroom was not a favorite. There was less privacy, showering in the morning was noisy and it didn't lock

The front desk clerk did her job in a friendly, safe (masked) way.

Guest checking in ahead of me was not wearing mask. The employee clearing away the coffee station was also unmasked.
