great staff, amazing breakfast, nice rooms

our hotel room floor was unswept. everything else was great.

Very clean and location to DPAC and dining.

The thermostat in the room didn't work properly. Middle of winter and set thermostat at 64 to try to make room cooler. But it was obviously not 64 degrees.

Wonderful location to restaurants, downtown activities and performances. Staff are friendly and informative. I was always greeted by the staff behind counter and at the door. It¿s so clean and modern. I would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom tub and shower need to be updated in the room I stayed in. The fixtures were old but working. It¿s not a deal breaker. I still loved my stay.

The location is what makes this hotel worth coming to. We like going to the Bulls games and can walk to the field, nearby restaurants, and the farmers market.

This is the second time we have checked in and been told our room was not available. The staff at the desk stepped away for a moment. When they came back, we were told it was fixed. Our room was the handicapped room.

The location. We had a concert at the Carolina Theater so we just walked right next door.

One of the staff at registration was a bit sullen. She didn't't seem to want to be there and basically didn't even try to answer a couple of our questions.

The bathroom door. It was a sliding barn door style made out of frosted glass. the door did not sit flush on the wall to the bathroom wall so there was a gap on both sides. not very private if you are sharing a room with someone.

The bed was extremely comfortable! The room was nice and clean, and the location of the hotel was great.

Our first experience with the hotel was with the Valet Parking attendant. He was not very welcoming. Second experience was with front desk who did not acknowledge us for several minutes.

The location was great. That’s about it. :-(

For starters, the commode water ran all night long.Then the AC sounded like a 1975 Oldsmobile.I finally couldn’t take the noises anymore.They sent a repairman to my room at 11:30pm vs simply exchanging my room. They ended up moving me anyway at 12:30am.

The comfy beds and the contemporary style of the rooms. I slept really well.

The door made me parallel park across the street and take my luggage out of my vehicle and walk up with it by myself, a single woman with 2 kids. We were approached by 2 different men asking for $. I checked in at almost 9pm at night. I felt unsafe. .

Hotel was as expected of a Marriott. Clean and consistent. Room was not huge but adequate to work from. Bathroom was a bit small. Internet was available for a fee (free for Marriott Rewards Members). Location was close to Duke Univ. and downtown Durham

The location was great and convenient for me. The staff were all professional, courteous, friendly, and went beyond the call of duty. The place was clean and the bellhop service was always speedy and everyone was pleasant.

no where to park when I arrived to unload my car didn't mind paying the valet fee but check inn was difficult with the bell hop

1). My 7:00 am Wake Up call DID NOT COME!!! 2). Downtown hotel with no hotel parking garage or deck. You're on your own to find parking or pay valet $12.99/day and tip. This is not mentioned on the hotel web page.
