Homewood Suites by Hilton Durham - Chapel Hill I-40 & Hwy. 15-501

It was so much nicer than I anticipated for the price. The balcony was lovely, especially as my room was facing the back so I could sit outside and see some greenery as I enjoyed my coffee.

The people were helpful and kind, the room was clean and functional, and it met our expectations. It was also quiet, not next to a highway.

Breakfast Staff very organized, friendly, and clean.

The sofa bed has stains on the seat pillows.

We were charged $13 for parking even though it said free parking on our booking.

This hotel perfectly suited our needs and the staff went above and beyond. The circumstance of our trip was emotionally challenging and we all really appreciated the kindness from every one of the staff members, including the housekeeping staff.

More fruit options for breakfast would have been nice.

Location

Roaches in room, ceiling, wall and bathroom. I notified the front desk and nothing was done about it.

Location Cleanness Nice staff

Need to update paint in room

The staff was very friendly . The room was good size and The pool was great

Location is great. Excellent customer service

Need to improve on cleanliness.

The room was very quiet, clean, and very spacious.

It was very hard to control the temperature and the old shower head is in desperate need of replacing. Having to request housekeeping is hard when staffing is limited.

Location was great!

Our air condition unit made noises all night long and our key cards were cut off before check out time.

I called the hotel after making my reservation to confirm room was correct and to ask/ensure that there was no way my room would be changed because it was imperative that I had a double room. I was promised that it would not be changed. I arrive it was

I’ve stayed in other Homewood Suites and this location didn’t live up to the brand name. The furniture was shabby, the carpet old, air was musty... I could hear the people in the room above.

Cannot get the room type as described even we received the confirmation email for the room type. No follow up call nor email for the room change before our arrival. Our kid has to stay in separate room.

Thoroughly enjoyed the suite, the breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt and the friendly staff. Really enjoyed having real mugs for coffee and tea. Loved the whole decor, elegant and welcoming.

Location

AirConditioner in room was too noisy Toilet was constantly running after flushing Bathroom door squeaked too much

Warm, homey place. Friendly, genuine staff. Having 2 rooms is great, and a kitchen. Good breakfast, just a bit late opening. Use it when going to Duke Medical facilities: only 15 minutes away, and there's a shuttle.

Location was convenient for my trip.

No ice machine in the room we were in

the Pool

Good location
