Suburban Studios Cary - RDU Airport

Location was excellent for the airport.

The room was spartan:no wall hangings. Not enough towels. Not enough pillows, Comforter was purchased from the Dollar Tree 25 years ago. Bed was ancient and dropped on one side. Not a single cup in the room to drink water from. Could go on with negative.

I have already filled out a survey but I will say again, this hotel was terrible. I have nothing good to say about it. The room we were assigned was filthy, not ready for habitation. And we are not terribly picky people. Dust, dirt, reeked of pot.

The receptionist took my deposit for checking out 30 minutes late. I'd understand if the cleaning staff was waiting on the room. No one was waiting on the room.

People were nice. Room smelled clean like bleach. Shower had hot water. Close to food. Lots of families.

Was told I was in a renovated room. Quickly learned it was the nicest room in the place. No frills. No elevator. Hallway smells, stale cigarettes and damp. Front desk is only there during the day. The bathroom ceiling had a major leak at 730 in the morning. No one at the front desk until 9. No emergency phone number. Had to leave a note. I was probably the only one there as a hotel stay. Most clearly live there. Side door was broken and therefore did not lock. Cocroach in the bathroom. Building as a whole needs a complete renovation.

My room was not clean. House keeping did not clean room good for the next person. Dog food and vomit on the floor. I will not stay here again. I really wanted to leave and sleep in my car. Very bad experience.

Carpets were nasty and molded, sheets had stains dust everywhere smelled like piss down hall and they didn’t refund me my deposite the chairs had millldooo smell and stains very nasstttyyy

Nothing at all

The location was easy to get to, but I couldn't see the signage due to it's a banner. I guessed it was a change in the name. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. She was able to put us in a 2 bed room. Bed was really comfortable.

When leaving, no front desk person to tell about the stand-up lamp had the bulb hanging down, it was missing the piece to hold the light in place. But overall it was a nice place.

Hotel only taking cash, and requiring a $30 deposit. dirty bed, staff rudely waking me up after I paid extra ($15 a hour) to check in early. so I can get some sleep before the concert I went to go see. I had checked in at 1:00 p.m. and checked out by 5:00 p.m. the same day without a refund of any kind. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. the location of the hotel is the only good thing about it

The staff or what little this place has is always welcoming and helpful despite what they can and unfortunately can't do.

I've stayed here multiple times and it's gradually getting worse each time. First the roaches are insane it's not one or two in a corner it's big ones small ones the baby ones crawling everywhere. Then the sheets and bedding are not actually being cared for or washed correctly stains like it's not even being washed just put back on the bed. I bought and used my own bedding. The shower head popped of and had to wait a day to get it fixed. The light fixture above the mirror kept falling off because the adhesive inside of it is no longer working, got woken up in the middle of the night twice because of it falling. This could really be a nice place for people if the people cleaning or up keeping the place or even the owner themselves actually cared. One of the two washers is always out of service but now both of them are, id just advise hiring a better maintenance tech or manager cause this place is getting worse and worse.

Hallways smelled of stale urine and body odor. My room was filthy. Carpets were stained, brown splotchy stains on the bedding, hair balls on the floor, mold in the bathroom, finish was peeling off the cabinets. The batteries in my tv remote also didn’t work. I was locked out of my room twice forcing me to check out early due to the inability to fix the door. Management was unreachable and the phone number provided to resolve immediate issues was incorrect. I wasn’t refunded for the three nights I didn’t end up staying due to “late checkout” but I only checked out at the time I did because I was uncomfortable staying for my full reserved time. The emergency phone that was at the facility also wasn’t working. It was not communicated effectively that this property is no longer an extended stay but rather a choice hotel causing more confusion and miscommunication.

The set up of the room was the only good thing about this NASTY PLACE.

Where do I start. 1. The doors to enter the building at the stairs were broken and dont close or even lock.2. The whole place smelt like WEED the entire 3 days we were there.3. They advertised themselves and a completely different hotel when I booked. I booked with Extended Stay America and when I got there they said they were Suburban studios. 4. They said they had a Pool which they didnt.5. The rooms were DISGUSTING6.THERE WERE ROACHES.7. I asked for toilet paper I was told they would bring it in a few minutes, an hour later we had to leave and when we got back someone had been in our room and left the toilet paper. ITS ILLEGAL TO ENETER SOMEONE'S ROOM WITHOUT BEING TOLD THEY CAN COME IN. EVERY other hotel was booked up due to the Huge Baseball tournament we were attending or we would have NEVER stayed here.DO NOT STAY HERE.8. They knocked on our door at 10:55 and asked if we were staying another day and we told them we would let them know and she said that's fine, we'll 20 minutes later the lady looked in my window of the room with a smart attitude telling me I would t get my deposit back due to getting out he room 20 minutes late, when they just told us we were fine. 9 I had to have someone come in and reclean the pull out couch. The sheets I asked for were disgusting.They had to cover expect sheets.

The staff were nice.

It was so gross. Roaches, holes in the walls, not enough pillows or blankets, dripping a/c, mold. Don’t stay here.

I have stayed here several times and always have had a great experience. The staff always greets me with an uplifting attitude. The rooms I have stayed in are always very comfortable, clean, and ready for my arrival. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Never had a complaint. Great place to stay. Once you stay, you will want to come back. If you would like to cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they offer all the necessary things to accompany your request free of charge. I have personally cooked 5 Star meals without having to bring any utensils. (All provided at your request if you have a room that is equipped with full kitchen). I will always come back

Price was the only thing decent and location

Convenience and privacy

Staff came into my room and took the towels back that I requested once me and my family left and walked to the store grown folks sleeping in the hallway in front of the doors front desk lady was not pleasant at all I tried to be nice but she wasn't pleasant at all well if you room knees new towers and sheets that was very dirty and dingy kitchenette had no stove which she told me I had Windows had no screen kids running up and down the hall a lot of bad activity

The location was good and room was spacious. That’s about it.

I reserved 2 rooms.. one for me and my husband, and another for our friend. Both of our rooms smelled absolutely horrible! Stale, musty, and almost unbearable. There was no trashcan in the room, remote didn’t work for tv, and ac sounded like a mouse was running laps in it. Kitchen cabinets were falling apart and a hole in the wall where the stove should be. Bathroom floor was peeling off and toilet hardly worked. This place needs some major rehab!!!

Cheap

The person who checked me in. It felt like I was bothering them. They kept saying they couldn't find me even tho I showed them my confirmation details and confirm number. They finally found me when they realized I wasn't going anywhere. The room itself was disgusting. One of the doors that were supposed to be locked was propped open the whole time and the push bar to exit it was broken off of the door.
