- location and cozy feel of an intimate size
- Nothing they took my money and I didn?t even stay there I had canceled the room online and some how they don?t care and kept my money so be careful of tourist places like this. Especially during extreme weather like this they will take advantage j

Cons -
- lack of staff at property vs the main check in @ 711
- No one present at check in (we got in after 7pm) and were told to go to another hotel to receive our keys. There was a hurricane happening and we were only given an extra hour of extended check out time and had to leave and drive with the hurricane.

Location
Room smelled, outdated, carpet was disgusting, mold on shower curtains, ugly
We showed up in town late and the office was closed. Had to walk next door in the dark to get our keys and check in.
Right in middle of town
Nice old style rooms
Friendly staff
Wonderful staff and excellent landscaping. Charming in all regards.
It was a quaint and cute
Smooth check in and helpful local knowledge by very helpful staff.
We enjoyed our stay in the cabin playing cards with friends in the kitchen. The stairs from the loft were were a little steep but the automatic step lights help navigate in the dark.
Close to town. Landscaping and outdoor areas were nice. Even had gas heaters at the outdoor gazebo. Rooms were clean!
Outdoor seating availability. Cleanliness of the room.
We were expecting one of the rooms facing the parking lot. We got a 2nd floor almost hidden room that we didn't even know existed.
Excellent, cozy. The garden was so beautiful although we didn’t get to enjoy that much , it was raining the whole time we stayed there.
Bathroom is only downstairs and it’s really hard for old people to go down few times in the middle of the night to use it but overall it’s so cozy and beautiful.
It was quaint, affordable, and a good central location
Every room should have a microwave, and an area that you can get the outdoor blankets and the games and the hot tea instead of having to go up the street
The location is very convenient to the shopping area of Blowing Rock. Since parking is very limited on the street with shops, it was great to be located so close. Large room and the bed was very comfortable.
The room is out of date. It really felt more like Aunt Ethel’s home. Some peeling wallpaper.
there was no breakfast
15 steps up stairs in the rear of building-- no elevator!!! Old furnishings and unclean. Small window in back reflected trashed in rear yard with weeds waste high and tree limbs galore. The $250 a night was worth maybe $50. Booked for 2 nights but stayed only one due to conditions. 15 steps and no elevator for an 81 year old is unacceptable !!
The staff was very nice, the room was a renovated 1954, the shower worked well and the bed was comfortable. The best thing was the location, on Main Street, just about 2 blocks from the shops and restaurants. It was very clean. There was a deck with party lights and a lighted fire pit in the evening.
Only our pillows that were very high, giving us stiff necks. It would have been nice to have breakfast on site, but there was no room for dining.
All of the outdoor areas to sit, fire pits at night, was in the farthest room which allowed privacy, great location, clean room and outdoor areas
Could hear snoring in the next room one of the nights but we turned on our sound machine app, coffee in the community area ran out by 8:00 am both mornings (would’ve loved that another half urn was made but there were individual keurigs in the rooms)
Location, cleanliness
Beds, pillows, fireplace out of order, coffee machine didn't work.
Loved how it was tucked in the beautiful town of Blowing Rock and you can walk to shops and restaurants Loved the chairs in the room
