Room was very clean. The location was excellent. Bathroom was very clean.

The room dollar rate was too high for the room. The room was very small for the room rate.

the bathroom lavatory/mirror was too close to the adjoining wall and was difficult to see in the mirror to shave.

Location in Blowing Rock was great.

Bed was very uncomfortable, room and bathroom are very small. Floor was slanted.

The porch

Tiny. Tiny shower. Tiny bathroom. Tiny kitchen. Could see daylight out the 2 bed bedroom. Hot in tiny living area.

Located just around the corner from charming downtown Blowing Rock, our suite had everything we needed to feel cozy on a cold winter night. The fireplaces are a very nice touch and the Monopoly board had all it's pieces! Everything was exceptionally clean.

The TV had bare minimum channels.

Channel availability on tv was lacking. Spent time in room because of bad weather.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere in town including walking to Moses Cone park to hike. Because this was a very heavy populated weekend it was the perfect location..

No body wash

It was super convenient for walking in Blowing Rock, only a block from main business area and park/playground. Also right across the street from good breakfast restaurant and two buildings away from The Speckled Trout, a great restaurant. It was quaint and picturesque, with mature beautiful bushes and flowers and trees. Staff on check in was very friendly and helpful. Price was affordable for the area. Very close drive to Bass Lake and the Moses Cone house also.

closet was only 2' wide! Bathroom was tiny, with tiny sink in same room with toilet and bath. Would NOT work for more than a couple, def. not a family with children. Lights were set over the bed in such as way a person could not sit in bed and lean against the headboard without hitting the light cover! TV was set so high I had to crane my neck uncomfortably to watch. Heater was hard to figure out. When asked staff to help, he was reluctant but finally did call and get us answers as I insisted.

Location was excellent, right in the heart of Blowing Rock.

The heater did not work in the upstairs of the suite, room 17. The only heat available downstairs was an electric fireplace. It was in the 50’s the evening we stayed, so the house was quite cool in the morning. I notified management about the issue so the next guest could have the option to turn on the heat. Paid extra money for a little extra space, but the room was in dire need of an update. Furniture was beat and stained, windows dirty, and just completely lacked any charm or character.

The "cabins" were tiny, especially for the price. Lights and electrical outlets were fun to figure out. Turn off lights, power strips dont work. Husband nicked his head on a shelf that was poorly positioned right above the only place to put your luggage. At 10:30pm at night I had to backtrack to another location to get a room key. The instructions on that came about 4 hours after checking in...

Location is good - it's as close to everything in Blowing Rock as you can get. Price is affordable compared to other hotels in Blowing Rock. The porch chairs and ability to sit on the porch outside your room and enjoy the weather was nice. Everything was clean, but it's the kind of place I was happy I was only staying one night.

Really old building deeply in need of an overhaul - probably 20 years ago. It worked, but wasn't really welcoming, especially the bathroom - which was clean, but really old.The walls are thin and my room had a weird shared entry-way that meant I got to hear my neighbors coming and going. Having to check in at a different property is kind of weird. Check-in procedure for "after 6pm" involved yet a different property.

Cabin #5 was great for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was lovely and bed very comfortable. The size of the cabin was perfect for a couple.

The parking for cabin #5 was not so great. Didn't like having to park and leave my vehicle so far from the cabin. Had to walk and haul all of our stuff back and forth and vehicle not in site of the building.
