- Friendly staff; cleanliness. These essentials are wonderful, but guests should know that the property is not as advertised. Most importantly, there was NO AIR CONDITIONING -- IN JULY.

The hotel was conveniently located about 15-20 minutes from Asheville. It reflects all of the quintessential elements of 1800s charm, and visitors will instantly be transported to another era. The grounds are beautiful as well. It was a great anniversary!
It did not bother my husband and me, but this BnB did not have air conditioning, which might an inconvenience to some. The breakfast, although delicious, was a bit small. Overall, not many downfalls.
Hotel is not Walking distance from shopping area.
