Bluegreen Vacations Blue Ridge Village, an Ascend Resort is 3 mi from Sugar Mountain. It features a mini golf, and multiple sport courts. Spacious guest accommodations includes full kitchens and free basic WiFi. Every guestroom features a living room with a sofa bed, cable TV with DVD player, and in-unit laundry facilities. A spa bath is included in the master bathroom. Blue Ridge Village offers guests multiple on-site amenities, including paddle boat rentals, a stocked trout pond, and free equipment rentals for tennis, basketball, and mini golf. A children’s playground and a picnic area with barbecue grills are also available. This resort is just 3.8 k from Sugar Mountain Golf Club. Grandfather Mountain is about a 10-minute drive, and Tanger Outlets on the Parkway is about a 30-minute drive away.

- Had so many things available.? kitchenette, electric fireplace, washer and dryer
- The hotel is in a great location, and I enjoyed everything about the layout. The neighbors were friendly as well as the staff.
- Lots of space.
Cons -
- Shower stall got floor wet due to being a small diagonal stall
- There was no internet so the entire stay we couldn¿t stream Netflix, use our devices, etc.
- Pool closed: one of the reasons we booked this one versus others. No WiFi in rooms: You can go to the office but our family is used to be connected (including sharing pictures). Porches are aged and are getting close to needing to be replaced.
