Horseshoe Tunica - A Caesars Rewards Destination

Room was very nice, has a Starbucks in the lobby. Pretty rooms, comfortable beds. Smells clean.

The front desk receptionist at check out was so rude!! I was just trying to check out and she barked at me "you have to tell me you room number" when she asked what I wanted. I just said I needed to check out and wasn't even given the opportunity to look at my card to remind myself of the number. I gave her my key card and didnt say anything else, bc she seemed so miserable. She then rudely gave me my receipt and walked away. This was at 6:30am, so maybe she's not a morning person. But Horseshoe needs to hire a more pleasant person. I was going to tell her how the outlets in the bathroom dont work, that also meant the hairdryer didnt work, nor did my curling iron or the alrm clock when i plugged that in to check. ....but she seemed like a very unhappy person and so I just got my receipt and left. Anyways, the bathroom outlet didnt work. Also the rooms seem so dark. There is a fridge but no coffee pot and no complementary coffee. Starbucks was just ok, you cant do mobile orders. The original front desk at check in were pleasant but the security lady made me show my ID to go to the bathroom (I guess its bc it was attached to a casino) i was there for work bc it was the only hotel available in that area. I drove over 100 miles and just wanted to use the bathroom at check in.No breakfast included and I was going to ask if there was breakfast at the casino side but again....the front desk lady that morning was so unpleasant, I figured a question like that may have sent her into a rage. I hope my work does t put us there again. I know I wont be visiting on my own.

Newly renovated rooms. Walk-in shower was a big plus.Receptionist was fantastic!

The check-in process was easy, and all of the staff was extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for my bubble baths. There was a problem with the toilet seat coming loose, but I was able to fix it. My traveling companion, who is a wheelchair, appreciated the accessible room with the low hanging closet bar, security locks, peephole, and safety bars, bars, bars in the bathroom. One mistake though, the nightstand was placed in front of the closet, thereby, making it impossible for a wheelchair to fit.

No breakfast was included, so travelers must remember that you have to physically leave the casino in order to get something to eat, if you are hungry before 8:00 in the morning. In addition, if you are a coffee drinker, there are no coffee pots int he room, nor anywhere to purchase coffee int he early morning hours.

Employees were cordial and helpful. Instructions on directions to the rooms should be posted better. I am older and noticed that. 3143 was hard to find. TV needed instructions in the room also. Coffee service in the room would have been nice. It was brought to the room promptly after a call to the front desk . Very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the employees.
