Pros +

  • The staff (all 3 of them) was friendly and accommodating. Hotel employee at front desk and valets were great!
  • Loved the location and staff
  • The employees were all very nice. Orlando was especially friendly and had a warm greeting for all.

Cons -

  • It was a ghost town! Bar/restaurant were closed indefinitely. The hotel is woefully understaffed! We saw about 3-4 employees total. No housekeeping service. Hotel location was bad - no other decent restaurants or coffee nearby. Street noise was LOUD!
  • Hotel had 2 bars and neither were open on our Friday night stay. Very disappointed
  • Carpeting in room badly stained and dirty. No ice machines. Restaurant and bar closed. The only food option was microwave sandwiches from a snack bar.

Room was great, loved the exposed ceiling and many windows

Washington Ave was awful it's very questionable safe

The room itself was very nice. Other than the fact that when someone opens the door the person at the door can see right into the shower due to the way the room is laid out and having a glass door shower with no visual barrier and in plain view.

It was like a ghost town! When we arrived around 7pm on the Saturday night before Christmas, there was no one at reception, the bar in the lobby was closed, and the restaurant was closed. Not at all what I?d expect from a downtown hotel.

Location

Poor guest relations, did not have room type I booked, room was tiny and uncomfortable, no housekeeping came when requested. Poor experience overall! Very disappointed!

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was huge and clean when I arrived. This hotel has been recently renovated and is really nice.

Parking is Valet only, or just on the street. Valet was $45 so a little high, but its downtown St. Louis. There is a bar and restarant but neither are currently open.

It was a nice location, clean room

Was not able to get in room. Their key system was down and we had to have security open our room door the entire time we were there. I only stayed one night.

Central location. Cleanliness.

Did not sell alcohol despite advertising roof top bar. Restaurant did not have everything that was on menu. Did not have any soda or anything other than milk and juice to buy to drink.

Friendly staff Big room

Bad mattress Icebox not plugged up

The rooftop area was lovely and completely deserted.

This hotel was not as advertised. No restaurant, no bars, no in-room coffee. Apparently these existed in the past but NOT ANYMORE. The hotel did not offer any kind of discount or apology. The room carpet was dirty and the sink was badly cracked.

The location and the rooftop

There wasn't staff at any of the bars

3StephPosted on: 6-7-2024

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. They were all trying hard to be friendly and accommodating and make the best out of every guest?s terrible experience. The lounge pool is nice in concept but all the amenities are broken or missing so it was fine

Everything is closed or broken. Housekeeping never came in the 4 nights I was there. Hotel is locked out of their own key system so security has to let you into your rooms, elevator, ice machine. All restaurants/bars closed. No pool towels. Broken chairs.

Loved the fitness center, the pool on the roof top and the friendly staff.

The parking situation is too expensive and unfortunately there was no room service available or roof top bar open due to weather

Nothing it stunk and had bed bugs!

It had bed bugs that we ended up getting bit by and the water smelt so bad we had to brush our teeth with bottled water

5LaurenPosted on: 7-6-2023

The rooms were spacious and had a great interior design

The rooms were hot during the heat wave and would not cool down past 74. We ended up having to change hotels and that was not apart of the plan

8MarkPosted on: 6-25-2023

Cool asthetic and the rooftop pool is great

There is basically only valet parking and they charge $30 per DAY, not per night so even if you check out at 6am you are getting charged.

The hotel had a cute style, feel to it.

Many things. The front walk in area was dirty the entire stay of flown in leaves. Never vacuumed up the 3 days we were there. Hotel had random black course hair all over the room. In the shower, bed, & on the clean towels. Hotel is not in a good area.

Clean hotel, with a friendly staff. The restaurant's food was delicious. It was only several blocks away from Union Station. We saw several bars and places to eat within several blocks of the hotel. Will definitely stay here again or recommend 2 friends
