Breakfast was good
Beds were very uncomfortable. Tub had brown hard water stains. Sink cracked. Small room with tiny window.
Staff at the front desk were very helpful as was the manager the morning of 8/10; I didn¿t get her name. Super clean; Super friendly and a great location.
the proximity to where I was going.
The hotel was undergoing renovations and the workers started at 6:45am Saturday morning pounding in the room above us. We could not sleep which was one thing I wanted to do on my vacation. Again on Sunday morning it started at 8:00am. Very disappointing!
Not too far from a Metrolink stop. aka within east walking distance. Several good to excellent restaurants are within 4 to 5 blocks. Neighborhood has a comfortable feel to it. Facility, staff, cleanliness, food are excellent and consistent
The peace and neighboring guest. They were great!
When I checked in the guy that checked me in lied about the amenities being open over the weekend. He said the bar wasn't going to be open over the holiday weekend. Nothing was. Come to find out all was open and available.
Location
Bar and outdoor fireplace closed Saturday night
The room was clean, staff service was good, and the location excellent (a few blocks from downtown Clayton and two miles from Forest Park).
Everything was good.
The location was great and in a safe part if town. Staff was very helpful.
The room was quite small and very poorly lit.
Location
overpriced parking, no bags in trash cans
We loved the whole experience. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was professional and exceptional. The location was the best!
Most of the staff were amazing! I would also say the valet, whose name I wish I had gotten, was superlative.
We stayed two nights. Our room was not cleaned while we were there. Also, there was a very small window in the corner of the room, so there was almost no natural light. We found it hard to see anything in the room and found it pretty depressing!
Employees were super nice.
Very noisy. The hotel was built with inch and a half gaps under the room doors. Every noise, every enter or exit a room and close, amplified in corridor and right in under door. I can't imagine what they were thinking.
I loved that it was nestled in a residential area of Clayton; it was clean, lovely, spacious, centrally located and safe. I felt very, very safe. I also appreciated Ashley at the front desk and her food recommendations (I arrived late.)
Confused about parking. Hotel has 1 person work valet evenings. He was parking car when I arrived. Didn't know where to park i.e. "valet only" sign blocked garage entry; drove around trying to figure it out. Needs specific parking signage.
The breakfast option was fabulous and the availability of coffee and water and tea 24/7 was such a plus
I loved the location of the hotel. It was great nice and quiet area and not a lot of traffic. The rooms were nice and large. Enough room to move around.
I didn't like the fact that the bar closed at 10. Also the maids didn't do a very good job of resetting the room.
clean, location was good.Staff friendly and helpful
The only complaint is that what was advertised in terms of time for the health center ,pool, and breakfast hours was inaccurate. The pool and health center were supposed to be open 24 hours but they were only open 6am-11pm.
Comfortable bed and great shower.
The breakfast was average. Coffee was disappointing. Parking is always a question. We were fortunate because we parked early in the afternoon. If we had arrived later, we might not have had a space.
