Only negative, check out time online said 12:00, but 11:00 is their real check out time.

This hotel looks good. The shower water pressure is great. Breakfast looked delicious. They also have a pool.

There's not many parking spots in front, majority is on the side and in the back. The room had bugs and the front desk representative said it was normal. Ew. You can hear everything in the hallway.

Room and staff were top notch.

Toilet seat very cheap and was not attached correctly along with the wrong size. It made you feel like you were going to fall.

They didn't mention anywhere they do not clean the rooms on the weekends which shocked me. I had to ask for towels everyday and I had to put the dirty towels in the hallway for them to pick up. Not what I expected when booking here.

The location was central to Kirksville and was easy to find. Parking was also accessible and there were plenty of spots.

I booked this hotel because I had a dental school interview in Kirksville. Upon arriving, staff was pleasant and did provide bottles of water. The room looked clean on first glance but after some observation there was an old, used cloth hanging on top of the shower curtain. I was able to overlook this, but when I went to get into bed there were several hairs underneath the pillows on each of the beds in the room. I told the front desk and they moved me to a different room but after switching rooms there was also hair in the beds of the other room provided. The front desk also told me at this time that they had been having problems with housekeeping cleaning the rooms properly. When I went to tell front desk staff about the second room they weren’t convinced and questioned me and made several comments about how they didn’t think that that what was going on and that they weren’t going to refund me anything for the room even though it was dirty and obviously not cleaned. At this point it was late and I had my interview in the morning so I asked for clean sheets and had to change the dirty sheets in the room myself. The next morning a maintenance man knocked on my hotel room door and accused me of not paying for the room I was staying in and when I tried to explain the situation that had happened the previous night he rudely interrupted me and said he knew the situation that had gone down the night before. When I asked to speak to the manager, all she had to say was that none of her workers would ever speak to a guest that way. Overall, it was a pretty horrible experience that definitely didn’t add anything positive to the stress I was already feeling before such a big day. I would never recommend staying here.

By far the nicest hotel in Kirksville since we have stayed at other hotels here that were not clean and rather gross.

The price! We definitely overpaid since we booked the room so far out. I wanted to cancel our reservation and rebook to get the almost half price of what we paid, but I was afraid we would not have a room at all then. Sent an email to the GM, Jennifer Dowty.
