Alexander Mansion Bed and Breakfast

The owner and his staff were marvelous. They were accommodating, knowledgeable, gracious and very helpful. The mansion was beautiful and everything was well appointed. Finally, the food was excellent. We look forward to staying there again.

Can¿t say enough good things about this place! Hotel employee is an amazing, detail oriented host. The little touches such as all day/night tea service, nightcaps delivered to our door, and INCREDIBLE breakfast were all spectacular. Highly recommend this stay!

Not a thing!

Everything was wonderful, from the evening wine to the twenty four hour tea bar and baileys and chocolate delivered to our room in the evening. Richard was so gracious. The breakfast was a four course dining experience.

Everything about this place was perfect, from the food to accommodations, to the beds and service. Impeccable!!!

Alexander Mansion BnB is a gem that does everything right. Every detail is considered and taken care of. Richard is a superb owner and host and his prior hotel experience is evident. This place has perfect marks on every review site for very good reason.

The only thing I didn't like about our stay is that it was too short. I wish we had more time.

This is a late 1800's Victorian B & B. The home is beautiful and very well maintained, clean & our host  was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the home, the area for sight seeing & eating places. The break he served was excellent!

The owner, building and breakfast was magnificent

Place was very charming and the innkeeper  was a "true" host that took the time to show us around. Provided a very nice welcome and inviting character to the stay.

The owner was amazing! So kind. So friendly. He makes you feel right at home as soon as you get there. He makes the most delicious breakfasts and adds so many personal touches to make the stay wonderful. I would recommend to anyone!

It was wonderful all around.

I loved the old-fashioned charm and hospitality! The delicious four-course breakfast was the best meal I had in Winona! I also enjoyed the special touches such as the lights and classical radio being on in my room when I arrived.

It was all fantastic! My suggestion is to call ahead and make sure to specify if you would like a shower and/ or TV in your room--not all are equipped with them. Also, you should plan to leave an hour for breakfast.
