Quality Inn Marshall near University

The front desk lady was very kind and personable upon check in.

Our room had worst smell of damp/musty and cigarettes. This was the worst as we couldn’t stand it and ended up getting an air freshener as the hotel was completely booked. Housekeeping came, even though we didn’t request which goes against signs

Good breakfast, nice staff

It was close to the college

Room had what appeared to be mouse droppings on the bed when we got there. Moved us to a different room that was very noisy. Maybe thin walls. Room was small. Claimed to have queen size beds, but clearly they were not queen size. Staff not great.

Pool was nice

I booked a king suite and at check in was given a single queen room. Big difference. Was not refunded for the price difference and was told there was no way to be refunded.

The staff were no helpful and somewhat rude. Will not be recommending this site to anyone soon. First bad experience with Quality Inn.

Location was good.

I was looking for a king bed room. The bed was ridiculous. I don't think it was even a queen bed. Room was extremely small. Free breakfast consisted of warming up packaged items, no hot food served.

Did not like the small room, No room on desk, first floor with pets barking. Hot tub jets didn’t work, no fitness room.

The bathroom could of been better, the refrigerator wasn’t cold and would of been nice to know the swimming pool was closed. Would of went to one without a pool for cheaper price since we weren’t able to use pool. We were looking forward to the pool

Really would of liked to pick my own bed size the queen beds were small for 2 larger adults didn’t sleep well at all

Parking wasn’t great but tolerable.

It was conveniently located and easy to get to. The breakfast spread included hot food, which is always a plus. Clean pool and hot tub area.

The floors aren’t the cleanest, which I suspect is in part due to the clients who work in the construction industry. But unless you vacuumed multiple times a day, that’s to be expected. The hotel also didn’t have an elevator.

It was very clean and the staff was super helpful and friendly! They kept us in mind as we requested extra nights and contacted us when a cancellation came up, very thoughtful! I don't understand why it has only a 2 star rating.

No elevator and no first floor room available for my 90 year old mother in law. Not a good situation.

The heater was noisy going on and off all night. But on such a cold night I was thankful it was working!

The hotel was clean and the room was very nice.

The hotel clerk was not a nice man. He was rude on more than one occasion and was not helpful in any fashion.

There was a breakfast included, which was surprising with how inexpensive the stay was. Not the greatest, but it was included.

I woke up after my first night in the hotel and had 15 large bite marks all over my body, which seem to be consistent with bed begs and itch like crazy. This is my first experience with them, but I can tell you they are NOT fun.
