    Cons -

    • Outdated, but for the price of motels around there i'm willing to pay without the updates.
    • There were broken down cars and monthly tenants belongings all over the place. I did not stay at the motel after seeing this.
    • Toilet would continue running at times

It was clean and surprisingly quiet. Easy walk to downtown.

There are definitely people that live there. Permanent neighbors blasting Eminem and a crying child as they sat outside and watched us move our bags in. Also needs some updating. But it was quiet at night and didn¿t feel unsafe at anytime.

It was nicer than Wyndhams super 8. Shower pressure was awesome! Definitely recommend.

You get what you pay for and it is a decent place for the price.

    Close to downtown

Very old room stinks bad old outdated guest smoking pot in the parking lot and room people live there

Location is very good. Close by downtown and Soo Locks. Walking distance to everything.

Very dated, older hotel. We were there just to shower and sleep. Rooms smells of old cigarette. But very clean room. We would stay again for the pruce.

Close to downtown. Didn't have to feed the meters to enjoy the city!

I thought that kids stayed free, but was charged the price a 3 Adults per night. Granted it was only $10 extra, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Dated décor but it was clean and comfortable. Owner was friendly and helpful. It was a good deal for the price paid.

    7GregPosted on: 8-3-2017

Location is great! Within walking distance to most, if not all, local attractions. For a budget hotel, it was quite clean. No signs of bed bugs. I was just looking for a place to sleep for the night and this motel is just that. Will use again if needed.

Has a slight odor but nothing too bad. It could use a little interior updating as the decor is outdated.

Can't complain about anything for the price we paid. Owner was very Nice and accommodating.

    Location

Bathroom next to the bed in room# 114 that we stayed. Room had a strong overpowering smell of jasmine fragrance.

The clerk (owner?) was very friendly and knowledgable about Sault Sainte Marie. He answered the questions we had quickly and accurately.

Rude staff, smelly room, uncomfortable bed, microscopic shower

    8Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 6-27-2016

This hotel was spotlessly clean, the owner was very nice/helpful, and the location was perfect downtown and by the locks. Right next-door to the Tower of History. Probably the cleanest dog friendly room I have ever had.

The hotel was extremely dated. I had read the other reviews ahead of time so I was not really surprised. It's a budget hotel so I really wasn't expecting much. As long as your don't care about the looks of the hotel it's a clean, safe, budget place.

    3Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 9-4-2015

The proximity to the hospital. It was convenient to just be around the block.

It smelled bad enough that I had to get air freshener out of my car and spray the room. The manager was not really friendly and was almost rude.

    8JasonPosted on: 8-19-2015

It was clean and quiet and was close to pretty much everything I needed.

    It was a little outdated.
