Hampton Inn Detroit/Northville (Farmington Hills Area)

The door would not open. Front desk had to open with a charger when we left out and came back. It would not hold a charge. They said maintenance had left a little early.

I view the lads who monitored the breakfast on Saturday as a “micromanager”. I’ve stayed at this location many times before and have never seen her. She may have thought herself to be helpful but rather annoying.

The staff was very friendly.

The only reason we came to this particular hotel for our working vacation was for the outdoor pool. When we arrived, we learned that the pool was not only closed, but had been for quite some time :(

The location was the best part of the experience. The breakfast attendant was wonderful.

My first room was behind noisy elevator so did not sleep. Dining chairs were badly stained. No hot water on 5/24. No eta for repairs, no notice when fixed. Promised a 15% rate reduction but the staff did not know how to execute. I was dissatisfied.

Was right as advertised--- decent, clean 2-3 star hotel. Not going to 'wow' with rooms.

The pictures on the web site were of an indoor pool its not, the bed creaked and was not comfortable

It was close to my destination the room was clean and the bed was perfect for getting a good nights sleep

Great location. Near the freeway/shops/ restaurants.

Room was never cleaned during a 3-day stay. The request only clause in micro fine print. Apparently you have to almost beg for fresh towels and hope to be granted them by the less than friendly understaffed hotel front desk. They'll be closed soon enough.

Breakfast buffet

Internet connectivity was clumsy. Cable selections were not great.

It had an outdoor pool, a microwave and refrigerator in the room. And also a let out sofa bed.

Bedding had stains

I liked how the pool was open. All of the other hotels that had indoor pools were closed. The staff was nice and let us change rooms to a double bed from a king bed.

yes the room was not cleaned hear in the bath tub, tables were not wiped off rings form drinks on the tables you can see it was not wipe off. they're supposed to clean and disinfect for the CHRONA 19 THEY DID NOT!

The bed was very comfortable and I got a very good night sleep. Additionally, very clean and ideally located.

The breakfast Monday morning was cold.. Eggs bacon and potatoes

Everything really. Friendly staff, clean, breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. Very quiet even though it's very close to major traffic.

There was nothing negative.
