lots of empty room, but they put me across from the front desk :-( next time I will ask to be moved, way too loud

Towels are actual full-sized bath towels. Room was comfortable and clean if in need of a little touch up here and there.

Only minor issues were that handle on toilet needed to be held down for awhile to flush and the drain plug in the jacuzzi tub did not operate easily. I don't think our fireplace actually worked in our room either.

The staff was friend and professional

The Bed was unfit to sleep in (Lumpy) My back is still acheing

Carpet in disrepair, flat pillows

Waterfront/Marina location. Spacious clean room. Outside balcony overlooking White Lake. Pet friendly. Jacuzzi bath. Very soft water. Families would appreciate the theme park 15 minutes away.

This is an Inn not a hotel, so its smaller and quaint. Room needed more insulation as we were awakened by sounds from the front desk, etc.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved and used the tub in the room as much as we could.

Oh, the mattress may not have been super comfortable, but that's about it.

Great staff. Rooms are set up for a great romantic getaway.

Could use room darkening shades when your room is on the first floor.

The Jacuzzi in the room was the best feature, but the corner balcony and dual shower heads was a close second. Every staff member my sweetheart and I encountered was friendly and accommodating. Everything was SO clean! We would definitely return :)

The bed, pillows, and bed linens were pretty awful. Sheets felt like sand paper and the pillows were the the limpest and floppiest I've ever experienced. Seriously due for an upgrade, for sure.

This is an older, charming hotel, and I got a GREAT room with a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and an outdoor deck overlooking the marina and inland lake. Comfy bed. The waitstaff was very accommodating. Very limited breakfast foods, but that was OK.

Continental breakfast was offered, but selection was minimal after the first day. Needed to replenish yogurt, cereal and danish. Only some muffins were left.

Location was great, room overlooking marina was great, clean, comfortable bed, staff was very helpful.

Probably because of Covid-19, the breakfast was minimal. That's ok-we understand the circumstances.

The woman at the front desk was lovely. She went out of her way to be kind and helpful. I have never had such wonderful customer service! Also, the hotel itself was clean and much nicer than your average hotel. Fireplace, whirlpool tub, beautiful views-

Feels like home. Beautiful location within walking distance to park, shopping , restaurants, hiking trails and boat dock.

No elevator which can be difficult for some visitors.

Around the building and the yard need TLC.

WOW, beautiful setting and magnificent hotel overall! This is a hidden gem and is deceiving from the outside, inside everything is very updated and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and passionate about their property.

Great location on White Lake, in the town of Montague, MI. Our room had a view of shingles on the adjacent roof, I would suggest next time getting a room with a view. Other members or our group had rooms that were directly next to the lake and docks.

Other than the view out our window of our room, the breakfast bar was on the lean side, but got the job done.

Outside gazebo was nice since our room didn't have a view. Evening chocolate chip cookies was a nice touch and the brand of soaps/shampoos was incredible. Enjoyed breakfast and eating outside.

We had just the standard room and they did try 3 times to talk me in to a room upgrade but I decided not to. I should have as our room was small with the view of a roof. No elevator. Check in was a bit delayed due to printer malfunctioning.

Very stylish rooms! Clean and comfortable beds.

The walls are a bit thin. It was not peak season so it was not bad, but I could see that being an issue during peak times. And the front desk staff could be more welcoming. She seemed annoyed that I wanted to check in. Like she was too busy....

The deck overlooking the lake was stunning but the chairs there were low to the ground and a bit difficult for older people to rise out of. We also did not have a table on the deck like other rooms did.

It was difficult getting out of the tub though I loved it while I was soaking in it.
