Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Detroit Farmington Hills

Everything was nice. Breakfast was nice.

No one was at the desk when I arrived, and there were several people waiting in front of me.

Location

No water for over 24 hours, no notice about there not being any water, sink leaked and has a clogged drain of which no one repaired or assisted with it.

It was a beautiful hotel.

I am disabled; they gave me an ADA room. But it was not completely handicapped equipped. There was no shower chair or bench to take a shower.

Staff was very friendly at check in and check out. The hotel is under renovation but our room was still nice and clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Enjoyed our stay.

Location was good for us. Not many people running around.

No room service. We stayed 6 nights, nobody cleaned our room. We had to ask for towels, shampoo and soap. We had to sleep in the same sheets for six nights. The carpets in the corridor was so old and stained, on the whole it was just a downer.

The patio is very nice and the front desk employees is nice.

I didn't like their policy about cleaning the rooms because I stayed for 6 days and they cleaned the room in the 4th day.

Breakfast was available, location is convenient, fridge and microwave in the room

Holes were in the curtains. The room need to be updated.

I was double charged for room. The pool was closed and no hot breakfast.

Breakfast and parking were good.

The bed linen and the linen for the pull out sofa did not look clean. The trash cans were not changed daily. It was absurd.

Staff was helpful and caring staff member our2 night stay.Our 1st morning was a hot breakfast, second morning there was NONE. Staff brought out waffle maker to accommodate the complaining customers,while mgr  said to put it away.

The style of the king suite was nice and the staff was nice and accommodating.

The room smelled of mildew and the bathroom was missing a doorknob.

Internet TV. They are serving breakfast.

Hard to find.

Fresh coffee and nice staff. Frig and microwave. Clean.

Not the best wifi - internet tv not working one night and my tablet had trouble streaming. Paper thin walls. Nice enough but not 3star property.

There was a fridge and microwave, a nice surprise. Also Internet TV.

Room was small and dark. And walls are paper thin.

Friendly staff

I felt as if I was sleeping on the floor .the bed was not soft. And the whirlpool in the king suite had 4 jets not working. The jets that were not working were covered with plaster and it was not a good look it was tacky. Won't book another room there ¿¿

Cleanliness

Pool was not open. No where was it posted that it would be closed! It was our whole reason for bringing the kids!

Friendly Staff

Yes. The lobby was not clean. There was loud TV noise from 12:30am to 3am.

Booked a room fully paid get to hotel was told no rooms available. No help from staff. Staff was sleeping in lobby. Was told to go elsewhere.

Nothing HORRIBLE STAFF RESERVATIONS ONLINE GET TO HOTEL WAS TOLD NO ROOM AVAILABLE GO ELSEWHERE. Staff was sleeping in lobby in pajamas!!!!! Never be back

It was very clean, and in A great location right off the express way!

Needed more staff since they were really busy, but the staff did a great job!

There was nothing to like. They turned me away despite having a reservation.

The hotel did not have a room for me when I went to check in. They offered no help in trying to correct this situation at all.
