This newly renovated boutique hotel with an artistic flair and amazing bar/restaurant Black Ginger is in the historic Corktown neighborhood of Downtown Detroit. Trumbull and Porter—Detroit Downtown—offers free WiFi throughout and is 30 minutes drive from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Rooms at the Trumbull & Porter include a 50-inch flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. The rooms also include an iron and hairdryer for guests' convenience. A spacious fitness center with downtown Detroit views is perfect for an inspiring workout. A courtyard music venue and beer garden are provided for guests to enjoy and private dining for on-site entertainment as well. Trumbull and Porter—Detroit Downtown, in the center of Detroit, is near many casinos, popular stadiums (Ford Field and Comerica Park), Greektown, Cobo Center, the Henry Ford Museum, and Windsor, Canada.

- Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- The hotel is very conveniently located and the staff was both very friendly and accommodating.
- Great location to downtown. Safe area. Bed was comfortable.
Cons -
- The gym needs wipes and/or spray to clean the equipment. There also needs to be some updated equipment. Also, the hotel rooms should be equipped with makeup/shaving mirrors.
- Room was a little small, but worked fine for what we needed. Had to pay for parking, which was dissapointing.
- The bed was very hard
