Travelodge by Wyndham Mackinaw City

The bed was very worn out and the most uncomfortable place I have stayed. Lights didn't work. Plugs didn't work. Very dated. Needs drastic improvements. My back was killing me trying to sleep on that horrible mattress. Room 110.The chairs were garbage.

Bed linen was clean, beds were comfortable.

Room walls and bathroom walls dirty with some wall paper stained and scuffed with black marks badly in need of a new coat of paint. Toilet was supposedly a soft close lid, more like never close. Breakfast had no eggs. Orange juice came out watery

The Staff they were very polite and kind. Staff made up for a lot. Kindness went a long way.

That the place had some plumbing issues although that was something we could deal with perhaps not for what we were paying. And that the rooms had very dirty floors. The whole place seemed very run down.

Clean and a good value.

Only cereal, toast, juice, and yogurt offered for breakfast.

Staff was always friendly and responsive to our interests.

Some rooms lost power and breakers were found and reset.

Nothing really

Yes no water pressure, could not take a shower. Front desk didn't seem to care I was upset.

The location

The hotel is a very seedy, run down motel. There were kids running around unsupervised, the property looks like people stay “short term”. Breakfast was not edible. Open communal bowls of food etc. if we could have stayed elsewhere I would have left.

The TV and hair dryer weren’t working. Also, problems with the bathtub.

No hot water , shower dribbled water. Received NO apologies or discount on charge. TV connection was bad .

Staff and the lady that worked in the breakfast house they were the only two that had respect and were kind

room smelled like an old attic. The owner of the hotel barged in on me while I was in my towel after I told him repeatedly I had extended my stay. I had talked to Jessica at the front desk. Then1 hour later,knock on the door, telling me I need to check.

The only two things I like best about the hotel is Hotel employee, She was the front desk, hostess, and the Lady, that was the cook that was in the breakfast house.. Those are the only two people that treated me with respect and kindness.

I didn?t appreciate the owner of the hotel barged in while I was in my towel unannounced, I repeatedly told him that I had extended my stay and talk to Hotel employee until Friday,he insisted that I needed to check out And check back in:( I felt violated:(

Price and location

We were pit next to a smoking room and the occupant chain smoked and our room and outside reeked of cigarette smoke. And he was very noisy.,

The breakfasts hut was excellent. I didn?t expect so many different things to eat.

The walls were very thin, we could hear the othet guests using the bathroom. And also our blankets were very damp.

The location was great.

Bathroom was in need of repair; room overall not as clean as it should be.

Location close to town,had a pool

Cleanliness, floors have not been swept or mopped in awhile. Took shower and walked from bathroom to chair my feet were black on the bottom..breakfast should have single serve cups of peanut butter not a bowl full with a knife

The staff were great, and the room was very clean

Very old hotel, aged a lot needs upgrades and maybe some sound proof floors.

The rooms were outdated. Smelled like an ash tray wasn?t very clean. The pool room was dirty.

Price was great. Pool was huge. Friendly staff.

We had tiny ants in bathroom and on a table.

Bed was comfortable. Located close to our destination. The staff was friendly.

The first room we were given had bugs on the wall and running toilet. We asked for another room and the next one had lights that didn't work & the heater didn't work. The " " free breakfast was nothing more than coffee & muffin.
