Comfort Inn Lakeside

Slept wonderfully on their bed.

Elevator was in attached hotel and required a long walk to get to elevator and then back to the room. Breakfast was only 7-9 and in next hotel. Turned on air/heat and there was a bit of an odor so I just turned it off.

Easy to pick up shelled tickets and ride and the breakfast saves us at least 40 dollars it was included in room

The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The room service staff ditto. The people in the breakfast restaurant helped with the appliances waffles and toasters.

The geese seem to make quite a mess underfoot you need to watch were you tread.

The smell was unpleasant. Checkin clerk was very unfriendly. No access to see Lake Huron. Breakfast was in next hotel and toocrowded

The location was on point (excellent) for my husband & I. We are walkers so we were able to get in our daily walk & site see. Everything was in walking distance. Absolutely no reason to drive anywhere if you?re healthy or your using a wheelchair.

The seagulls were out of control. As soon as you open The balcony door, the seagull came directly to it calling for you to feed them. The breakfast was horrible! Toilet handle broke before breakfast and the receptionist didn?t send anyone to repair it.

The location was great, right on Lake Huron, close to down town

Room was not the worst I've ever seen, but probably wouldn't stay there again. Shower had mold on the ceiling, dust bunnies were on the base boards and the bed sheets had questionable stains. Breakfast was served at the neighboring hotel.

The staff was very rude and inconsiderate. She was clearly annoyed with any question asked. Hair in the drain. Didn?t utilize shower because it felt pointless.

The internet didn't work. The breakfast wasn't available and it was later told to me you had to go off site for it? The balcony was filthy. Ice and vending machines were broke. The room was clean however.

The location was great! And free breakfast was a plus.

The pool was down, you had to go to a neighboring hotel for breakfast and there was black mold in the bathroom as well as a layer of dust in the room. That being said, they had just reopened for the season so during peak season things are probably better.

Worn out, musty smell, very dated

It was nice to be near the water and ferry was a few minute walk!

For the price the room wasn¿t worth it, it could have been a little more cleaner.

Lot of mosquitoes in the window and beach area, Bathroom was not good, once locked unable to unlock i was very disappointed with that.

The room was very clean.

Outside was dirty. Breakfast was disappointing and coffee was water down. We ate elsewhere.

On lake Huron. Could watch the ferry come back and forth.

Air conditioner is gonna give out soon if those filters don't get cleaned. Ours was pouring out heat bad because the filters were caked. Microwaves should be in every room.

The hotel¿s private beach area was nice for our kids to play and swim. The staff was friendly.

The continental breakfast was barely a breakfast (a paper bag with a bottle of water, apple, and Chewy granola bar) and they really shouldn¿t be advertising that as a ¿perk¿ of staying there.

It's within walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The hot tub was a great relief after a long drive.

Being able to have campfires on the beach was wonderful. Also, the hotel being walking distance to downtown Mackinaw City made the location perfect.

The beds were very hard and hurt my hips. Also, the lack of breakfast was disappointing since breakfast was an advertised amenity.

Very dated hotel room with stained carpets, old furnishings and bad bathroom. The beds were ok.

Within walking distance to downtown. It's a 2 star hotel. Was what I expected..room is a little dated. Clean and staff was friendly. Won't complain much for 60$.
