Spark by Hilton Ann Arbor South

Location, cleanliness, bright, airy feel,

The hotel is close to the U of Michigan athletic facilities (specifically lacrosse). The hotel was clean. A free breakfast is offered, eggs, sausage, waffle maker, pastries, and coffee were among our favorite offerings.

The hotel is currently under construction, so there are some unfinished looks, but it did not impact our stay or cause additional noise.

Location and cleanliness

They need to fix the whirlpool

Thick cozy comforter.

Vending machine, I was warned, but optimistic. Robbery!

Staff was rude. Hotel decor/furniture is from the 90s. No variety in the breakfast menu. Hot tub was closed. Side entrance door to the hotel?s lock was broken/open. Exit from stairwell has an immediate step but no sign warning of such, I had a close call.

Location

It was the absolute worst comfort in.I have ever stayed in holes in the walls.I am a platinum member and the front desk.Lady would not let me have a 2 hour late.Checkout , I thought for some reason that was ridiculous

Clean and pretty easy to find

There were no towel hooks or holders and tolite was very liw to the ground and no tolite seat cover for when you flushed. Bathroom could definitely use a small update

very comfortable beds, nice bed linens. Tasty gravy with sausage for breakfast.

Room window glass was broken. Noise at night. Front desk knew but still assigned the room to us. We have to change another room the next day.

The front desk staff was helpful

The whole hotel has a smell. The rooms are the worst - the smell was so bad we tried 3 different rooms and considered switching hotels.

Clean and convenient, pool and good breakfast

No guest laundry

The stuff worked in the front desk are friendly and helpful.

The noise cooler system. If not turned on the room is very hot. If it is turned on, it consistently blows the cool air and make the very loud noise and it is going to be very trouble some for sleeping. The first night is almost sleepless.

Location easy on and off freeway and close to U Of M Taubman Medical Center

The room was clean and comfortable with very friendly staff

the location is perfect for me. the price was right.

the whirlpool/hot tub was closed. By the condition of the water and the posted sign, it didn't appear it would be fixed anytime soon (green algae in the water)

We love the location the friendly staff the very clean room

The location and the price seemed reasonable. The mattress seemed comfortable but this was not a good hotel in my opinion. The carpet in the hallways were dirty looking and it had a musty smell.

The room I had had spider webs on the walls, and there wasn¿t not one trash/waste basket in the room at all. Asked the night clerk about it and he responded by saying he didn¿t think any of the rooms had them!

Good location off the highway and close to many shops and restaurants. Also very clean and smelled fresh. Beds were very comfortable and there were enough pillows and towels

Unfortunately our room was right across from the vending and ice machine so there was a lot of noise and commotion in the halls at various times during the day and night.

The staff are friendly and attentive. There were several breakfast options and all of it was fresh and perfect!

The appearance of the room and it seemed clean

Pillow had bed bugs we reported it. Very itchy night. No compensation.
