Great location, classic charm and a nice size hotel in beautiful downtown Portlandia, Maine. Has some charm. Good gym. Great top floor bar and restaurant, decent coffeshop. Walking distance to all major attractions, easily accessible.

Rooms a bit dated and bit of a musty smell initially coming in. For the money they could do a bit better.

The location was great. Very walkable to most of the prime spots in the city. The reception had a toy cart which my son enjoyed picking up toys everytime we walked past the lobby. Staff were excellent catering all our needs. We were allowed for early check-in and also a late check-out at our request. That allowed us to spend extra time at the beach. Very clean linens. Overall I would rate Westin Portland Harborview very high and would definitely stay here when I visit Portland again.

The hotel itself is very nice. The streets and area around the hotel had several homeless, including a police trying to revive one drug addict lying in the road another trying to break up a fight with a few drug addicts and as we walk further around, we find homeless sleeping on the sidewalk with a blanket over them it’s just not the way you want to go from a nice hotel to walk outside and walk around the surrounding areas very disappointing. the hotel has several homeless and drug making my wife and I not wanting to go foreven a short walk and feel safe doing so. Police were trying to revive a drying adduc in the sidewalk while breaking yo a fight

The hotel staff, the food, the rooms were all first class just stay within the hotel the adjoining garage needs attention. It is acarry going to get anything from your car after dark.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean, fresh and decent amenities.

Public spaces run down. No room service (not until Thursday?), hotel restaurant was closed. i was at a regional conference? That seems bad. I ended walking to find something to eat and the surrounding area, which used to be lovely, is extremely run down. Storefronts boarded up. Lots of houseless people wandering around right outside the hotel. I found a dive bar to get pizza and gave my leftovers to the locals but it was sad. Wouldn't have walked around out there after dark.

Big, classy, historic, centrally-located hotel which has been attractively-renovated. Large suite w/ a huge bathroom; warm, quiet, both dark (when we wanted it to be) and bright (ditto). Delicious, large, made-to-order breakfast. Big and well-equipped gym. Huge parking garage right next door. Friendly staff (for the most part).

We paid for a room w/ breakfast included for 4 people but then were only given breakfast passes for 2 people and had to argue so our kids could eat too; frankly for a nice hotel that was cheap and unfair of them.

Beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable accommodations Top of the East was beautiful and the staff there was amazing

The Eastland Grind wasn’t open the days we were there for some reason. We just wanted a quick breakfast rather than a sit down so had to walk to find something

Nice rooms and spaces, very clean

Was just close to a lot of homeless, had some issues at the spa but they did their best to make it right which we really appreciate!
