The Bluebird Motel Maine

It was very clean and well maintained.

The mattress was not very comfortable.

Legit old time motel. Park in front of your room. Owners and staff have clearly worked hard to update a building probably stood up in the 1950s and made it as modern, comfortable, and up to date as possible. Smart tv, power ports etc.

Love everything about this hotel.

Large clean room; very nice bathroom; comfortable bed; fridge, microwave, Keurig, and free ice; convenient location, friendly and professional staff

No bolt/chain-type lock on the door; room key was fiddly and hard to use; heat/AC controls were a bit confusing; fan blew directly onto head of bed; peephole in door at least 5'6" from ground (I am 4'11")

Rooms were clean. Good water pressure and nice hot water.

The heat pump above my head dried out my nose. The only ice available at the front desk which seemed like a mile away. The charges at the hotel were about $20 more than I was expecting.

Hotel and rooms are well maintained; staffing is an issue as with all other hotels, but care is taken to address the needs of guests when reported to the front desk.

Riverside room had a nice view. It was nice to have a balcony to relax on and look across the river to Canada. The woman working the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The chamber maids were pleasant and gave a good recommendation for dini

This is not about the room and could not be helped, but a terrible stench was wafting across the river at night and that was our signal to go inside.

Price and room NOT directly on the highway, quiet.

I guess the bathroom was clean but some areas Had mildew, black areas around the tub and the floor... could be re caulked.

Hotel employee was very helpful and accommodating. He gave me good recommendations for someplace to get a bite to eat. The motel and the room are dated but clean (for the most part). The location was convenient to the business to which I was travelling.

The motel is dated, though clean. It is a drive-up with direct access to the room. The bathroom needs a facelift with bright yellow tile and vinyl flooring that had a cigarette burn in one place. The shower shows evidence of door tracks now removed.
