Pros +
- The staff was wonderful and was willing to help at any opportunity
- Location on the trolly line was convenient.
- I liked the location and the helpfulness of the staff and the pools and the bar right by the pool. I also liked the water pressure in the shower and the thick bath towels. The breakfast was good too.
Cons -
- there must off been a water leak near the exercise room because the hallway carpet was soaked. There were no cones to block off the area. The majority of the ceiling lights in the pool area are blown so the lighting is not very good.
- The hotel was dirty. Staff did little to clean up and the clientele was sketchy. Two old ladies had a fight at the pool. We couldn't sit outside unless we wanted to smell cigars and cigarettes. I Had to clean the table to sit at during the breakfast
- The mattresses on the bed were a little firm.

The 2 pools, the staff was nice
I always check the beds when I first go into hotel for bugs or anything... One of our mattresses had what looked like blood all a corner of it. Some of the steps were rotting walking into the a side entrance. Needs some tlc
Large room, balcony, quiet location
Creaky floors and doors, bathroom door did not close properly
only rec'd two small old towels for pools. very out dated
It was quiet. The view of The pool, and the grass was nice, from the balcony.
Breakfast in off season, was slim, pickings, the floor,of the room creaked at every step. In,need of serious updates, but we were not unhappy.
We liked the staff at the restaurant/bar by the pool. Very friendly and welcoming. They even invited us for a bonfire. Overall beautiful setting.
The front desk staff was not as friendly/welcoming. She could have smiled or had more conversation like the bar staff.
the room, pool, staff, and location
That they have you pay a hospitality fee and charge extra for the 3rd and 4th guest, even though your in a 2 queen room
Location was great. Wish we had a down day to walk and explore the are. Staff was very nice
location
no restarunt
They had very good food and drinks at the pool side bar.
manageress need some people skills!
Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review. The front desk was not welcoming at all. The room wasn’t cleaned, there were corn chips near the end table on the floor in plain site and more under the bed. We did request an early check in but I have never experienced that. Lastly hotel advertised year-round outdoor hot tub, it even had a sign hanging when we approached, but it was closed off/only open for summer. The pool was nice and big but the room was old and outdated. Will not be returning.
Room was not clean, chips on floor and under bed upon arrivalYear-round outdoor hot tub advertised was closed off for winter but sign was still hanging that it was openFront staff woman was not welcoming at all
The staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good. Nothing elaborate, but enough to pick from to start your day.Room was clean, but a bit outdated. Loved the hygiene products they provide.
Unfortunately the noise level and kids running around late at night woke us up each night. Also, the inside hot tub was out of order due to someone breaking a bottle or glass in it. Also the bed was very hard and not too comfortable in our room.
Breakfast was surprisingly good because there were "real" chewy bagels. What a treat! Also, flavored creams for coffee. Good tea selection. Other items were good, too. The bed was very comfortable. Room temperature controls worked well.
The toilet was so low! I have a bad back and fake knees so it was EXTREMELY difficult to get up and down on the toilet. I was concerned I might be stranded there.
never again
breakfast was terrible; facilities need major updating; bed was uncomfortable
Staff was friendly, location good, breakfast was decent, and I liked having a balcony.
Hot tub looked a little grungy so we didn't use it. There were noisy people in the courtyard -- loud voices and loud music -- both nights we were staying there who didn't shut up until around 11pm. I shouldn't have to call and complain about that; it should have been dealt with immediately by staff. (It was seriously that loud.) Also the mattresses were really hard and uncomfortable the rooms need updating. Not worth the price we paid. I can see how families would love this place, but not great for a romantic weekend for two.
Breakfast was fine.
The rooms and decor could be up dated and brightened to the current time. Were a little dingy looking.
It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Our third floor room had a balcony where we could get fresh air. The lobby was inviting and the common outdoor facilities were attractive. We were greeted warmly and given directions and advice.
It seemed understaffed and a bit neglected, perhaps because it was off-season. Continental breakfast was very basic and not restocked. Our third floor King room needed revitalization. It was an older room that was musty, with the strong smell of the over-chlorinated swimming pool downstairs.
