It is affordable. The staffing excellent. Great hiking on the other side of the White Mountains away from the crowds.

No ice.

An absolute hidden gem! You really get yourself a condo here so you can bring your food. There is a stove and microwave. The staff is excellent! They can tell you all about the area and the local lore. It is an absolutely gorgeous setting!

Room is great. The shower is great. The location is great.

The Internet is too slow. Can't even open a Facebook page.

Kitchen was included that is the best thing.

Wifi was very poor and didn¿t meet our expectations on internet. About breakfast they didn¿t confirm on night but it was there in the morning after we had it prepared by ourselves.

I love how much the loft rooms have to offer. Every time I turned around, I found a new item in the room, amazingly well equipped

Only thing I didn't like was the scarcity of air conditioning, but it really wasn't that bad

Because most are housekeeping accessories are there and some felling of forest and arts activities are fantastic , but I think need to put hair dryer I don’t see my room may be the other rooms have , breakfast is tasty and fresh cheese and fruit

Very friendly, welcoming staff! Nice to be out in the woods. Quiet area. Clean. Kitchenette in room. Coffee, tea & treats available in reception at all times. Various common areas - fireplaced living room, reading area, game room. Wifi connection.

Very soft beds, narrow, tricky spiral staircases, old carpeting and 1970's furniture.Third level bedroom with low ceiling, pipe close to bed.TV service rudimentary. Except for playground, no other amenities (pool, fitness room, outdoor screened area).Fogged up windows.

No WIFI no distractions and old school 70's feel, it was super quiet.

Amazed by how much space we had in our room. Great owners and staff made sure we had everything we needed! 10/10 will definitely book again

It's a little dated, but that just adds to the charm.

Unless you like to hike in the winter, this place would be a wonderful spot for hiking in the summer. The room was spacious and quiet. We had a mini fridge with a freezer, an electric stove/oven, and a microwave. They have a game room and a little library. So if you wanted to spend some time out of your room, you had options. There was a great room with a fireplace, but we never ventured into that area. The manager Monica was very nice and personable. We learned a lot about the area of Evergreen Valley, it has quite a backstory. We hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the hiking.

The location is very remote, no cell phone service, and there is nothing around for miles. You need to drive to Lovell to get any food or gas. Overall the room was a bit run down and could use some TLC. Not enough towels were provided for 4 people on the reservation. Could have easily requested but we were staying for 1 night so not an issue.

The staff was nice. The outside looks of the complex has some charms to it. If you like a secluded place, this is it, as it's located in the middle of nowhere.

The room smelled of mold, and hadn't been renovated for... ages, the bed wasn't very comfy and too small for 2 people. Overall too expensive for the quality.

The location is mesmerising - you are in the middle of the woods with a beautiful lake close by. Not too far from the main trails of the white mountains - really close to Mt Washington. Very nice people running the place. (photo of a lake/pond about half a mile from the inn)

This Inn is situated in the beautiful White Mountains of Maine. While the Inn is old, it has a lot of charm. There is a huge "great room" with a wood stove and very comfy couches. Free muffins for breakfast! There is a very friendly husband and wife team that stay there and operate the inn. It really is a little hidden gem. There is an outdoor area for a fire as well as bbq grills and a very nice play ground area for the kiddos with a jungle gym/climbing rock wall. If you want to be away from the grind for a short while but still have wifi this is a great place. There's a creek nearby and the occasional moose wanders through not too far from the inn. We have stayed here several times and can't wait to come back. They are pet friendly too.
