Pros +

  • Lovely ,bright clean very relaxing . Fireplace.

Cons -

  • Breakfast. No vegan options .We would have enjoyed having breakfast in the inn with some vegan options.
  • I was excited to book a room at this inn due to the proximity to bowdoin and that they advertised having an option for breakfast and dinner. Upon arrival, I was informed I should self-check in but they did not indicate a room number. I called and spoke with a staffer who informed me I was in room 9- which ended up being in the basement. When booking, they the room looked to have windows and seemed to be more updated than what we walked into. We walked through the room and ended up walking into a storage closet that was unlocked and packed with more outdoor furniture than what was in the common space. It was just so awkward. We then were hoping to relax in the inn and get dinner and a drink but it was entirely under construction. I wish there had been notice to this prior to checking in so I along with my family could have made other plans. We woke up the next morning to snow with nothing plowed or dug out so we had to dig ourselves out and leave. Overall, worst stay Ive had. I work at a 5 star resort and while I did not expect this to be 5 star, communication and common service is to be expected.
