Pros +
- Booked due to a storm, and couldn't get home. I wanted something close to work that I could just get there and relax. And this was perfect for that!
- very nice and helpful staff
- Old charm of the house and the magnificent wood and woodwork in the rooms, and the breakfasts were excellent.
Cons -
- cleanliness and location were far from ideal
- The rather large dog seemed to have full reign of the house. If one were allergic to dog hair or dander, that could be a problem.
- We were very disappointed that are Bed and Breakfast experience did not include the breakfast. @ check in we were told the rate we paid ($---inclding tx) didn't incld breakfast. VERY disappointing. the reservation detail said nothing about exclusions :-(

It was beautiful. Very clean and well maintained.
Five minutes after being shown to our room, I tried to find our host; I even rang the front bell. Eventually, she answered a telephone call. At that point, we were informed our room didn't include the gourmet breakfast...we didn't even get coffee!
The hospitality is second to none. An absolutely stunning home that brings you back in time. A truly spectacular experience.
