Pros +
- Very Clean rooms. Breakfast was first rate. Staff were pleasant and attentive.
- Historical, charming hotel with staff who really care about your comfort and satisfaction. About 45 min to Chincoteague which was WELL worth the visit!
- Great location.
Cons -
- The town, and even the Tavern, closed at 8:30 (and this was a Saturday night). If you are looking for quiet, clean place to stay, you'll find no better anywhere. If a nightlife is important for your stay, I'd recommend staying elsewhere.
- Granted we're emerging from Covid, but it felt mostly self-service...just before 10p on a Saturday night, I needed a clean towel and staff were nowhere to be found. I called, left a message, no response. Town is quite small--but the resto is pretty good.
- Room could used more cleaning. The hotel itâ≢s right next to a fire station if you want to sleep all night without being wake w by the sirens this hotel isnâ≢t for you.
