Best Western La Plata Inn

The gentleman that checks you in once you arrive is always one of my good experiences, my friend will never fail to offer his guess a cold bottle of water.

Let me just say this.. the place is fantastic for the price you’ll pay and the location is very convenient

Great location and friendly courteous staff

There was a insect/ roach box located on the floor under the coffee pots while breakfast was being served...totally turned me off.

The staff were great, everything was clean and well kept. The price was very good. I've stayed in far more expensive hotels that were not as nice as this one.

Staff was very nice. Quality of the egg product and the meat which was always sausage for breakfast could be changed. Waffle option was excellent.

Staff should pay a little closer attention to detail. I noticed there was some mildew up in the corner above the shower tub area, and the top ledge at the center of the bathtub where the shelf is needs to be cleaned better because there was mold growing

I was impressed with the breakfast, which was definitely better than quality suits and Waldorf and I didn’t smell smoking which is awesome because if it’s a non-smoking hotel, why do you keep letting people smoke in the rooms and you can smell it

I saw a roach, which was very concerning in the toilet of the outside had some type of stain like a blood stain. But other than that, the hotel was nice. I can say this much. It was better than quality suits in Waldorf.

The proximity to our venue.

Bugs, bugs, dead and alive!!!! 1st room was very musty. Turned on the AC unit only to look up and a roach was crawling up the white curtains. 2nd room had a huge dead spider on carpet. In the morning a live roach was crawling up the tiles in the tub.

Staff was always polite, available and responsive.

I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff the most. The cleanliness of the room and the kindness they displayed to each customer The quietness and comfort was so appreciated.

I didn¿t like that I couldn¿t afford to stay longer

The lady that does the breakfast was really sweet. The lobby looked nice.

The AC didn¿t work in our room and the bathroom was disgusting. Toilet and bathtub were very dirty. There were stuck on hairs to the bathroom door and it was really sticky. The pillows on the bed were 12x12 inches at most.

Room not very clean, the refrigerator was filthy and the fixture in the shower was impossible for me to pull out to get water to come on ( husband had to pull on) The mattress was very hard

Location to my destination.

We booked a King room and did not get a King room. Light switches in the room (other than bathroom switch) don¿t seem to connect to any lights.

The staff was professional and helpful during our stay. The breakfast provided was good to start off one's morning.

The first room given to me smelled like marijuana, but the next room was clean. The pool area was closed and the hotel itself is dated (needs remodeling).

I arrived after midnight. The receipt was cordial and the room was covenant so I did not have to go outside alone. The room was very quiet. Also, the breakfast was good, nicely arranged and the staff in charge checked with each guest regarding their needs

Room clean, updated. No funny smells, no noise in hallway overnight.

The shower head is a bit clogged with deposits and did not work properly

The staff was excellent and very pleasant. The young lady at the desk on Saturday afternoon was very nice.

While the room was clean the walls can use some paint from previous occupants. There were large water spots on the walls in the sleeping area and water spots in the bathroom. There was hair that was stuck to the back of the bathroom door.

From the phone call to the checkin to the help the next night with coffee Nikki was extremely pleasant to deal with, very professional & friendly. Gteat smile & joyful personality. She is definitely an asset to your team! We would stay there again 4 Nikki

Beda are very high for handicap and short people to get up on. Also, no handicap chair in shower of handicap room. I am so glad I brought mine becuz I cannot stand in shower.

the location

A strong smell of cigarette smoke was coming from an adjoining room. Also, the room was located on the 1st flr so it was very noisy. beginning at 6am each day I was awakened to the sound of a heavy door being slammed.

The location and free breakfast. Hotel was clean and nice for the price.

The WiFi does not work throughout the entire hotel. I was not able to use it in my room only in the lobby do I ended up using all of my cellular data for my 1 week stay. This absolutely needs to be fixed to make a better stay experience. Very frustrating.

The hotel room was very nice. They had MASN on the TV channel line-up, so we were able to watch the Washington Nationals game.

Outer access doors did not work. Coffee maker did not work. Breakfast service ended at 9AM (too Early!). We were not able to make it.

Pool was not usable, air conditioner in room was not woking properly and check in procedures have alot to be desired :(
