There was a used bar of soap let in the shower, hair in the shower floor and drain, black sticky liquid in floor in bathroom, large brown/yellow stain on mattress that had smell. If we wouldn’t have checked in at 5am, we would have left.

Room was clean

Construction mess and amenities being closed all while still at a high price point.

The hotel was absolutely disgusting, run down, terrible smell, the room had been smoked in, it was nasty.

I stayed for three days in my room was never cleaned.

Getting to Salem was easy. Our little girl enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was decent for a hotel breakfast.

Getting in and out of the parking lot was terrible. If you miss the hotel you have to go miles out of the way to turn around. It was frustrating.

Great staff and good hotel for the price. Breakfast was good too.

Pool could have been taken care of better.

The exit DRIVEWAY from the hotel is SO HARD TO FIND! 3 drivers ALL missed it the first time!! Put a sign that says EXIT to the right of the exit drive!

Location, breakfast and cleanliness

Water leaking from ceiling all night near bed. Front desk did not have rooms to switch us. Did not sleep all night as I was collecting water from ceiling in ice box and dump in bathroom sync. made sure the water did not flood on floor and damage property

This particular hotel is conveniently located to our daughter's condo in Salem so it has become our " home away from home" when visiting. The staff grreetedus by name when we arrived, welcoming us back and thanking us for returning.

Fairly convenient to get to Salem if you?re ok with a little drive, not too far and saves a bunch of money

Paying for parking, loud could hear full conversations from people in the hall or other rooms all night

Not much. Have always been a big fan of Hampton Inns. Worst experience with a Hampton Inn.

We arrived for check-in an hour past the check-in time (3:00 check-in, we arrived at 4:00). Our rooms were not ready - we were told it would be about another half hour. We were in a rush to change and get to a family event. No help offered.

Proximity to Salem and other conveniences. The room was a good size, but the carpet was dirty.

The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The adjoining room was loud - left their TV on all night and their child was up at 2am talking loudly = there is no sound proofing on that adjoining door. The breakfast was not vegan friendly.

Location was convenient for our needs

The room looked like a cloud with a strong chemical scent. I assume it was some kind of cleaning solution or spray. It made it difficult to breathe.

The staff was great.

My first room was very dirty. The hotel is run down and needs updating. I have stayed at many Hampton Inn's and have never been in one as run down as this one.

There is pool inside the hotel. Breakfast included is nice to have.

I made a reservation for 2 QUEEN BEDS. But the front desk gave me ONE KING BEDS which is not what I expected. Also the room is full of strange smell, something like spit or piss, especially the head of bed!
