Everything about the Marblehead Inn was spectacular. From the mansion itself, to the staff; the Innkeeper was so helpful and friendly. Every detail was taken care of. We greatly enjoyed our time there and cannot wait to return.
Besides having to eventually leave, no.
every thing is good but the hotel close early about 8.00pm. if you will arrive lately you have call hotel.
the location was convenient to Salem. the hotel was adorable. Debbie was friendly and helpful. the bed was so comfortable. the breakfast was small but perfect the best coffee. I would definitely stay there again.
Quiet, neat, updated and clean
Staff not outgoing, didn’t really speak to us.
Great location, plenty of parking and the continental breakfast was perfect.
Nothing! The room was good, loved the bed and pillows and the staff provided good communication
Well located for my meetings — a convenient choice if you have commitments in the area. Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast with fresh fruit salad and croissants.
What absolutely phenomenal bedding! It smelled like sweet dreams and was powder soft. WOW!The breakfast was an utter delight of fruit and yogurt parfaits, delicious breads, and all the tasty coffee one could desire. And if you want a phenomenal dinner, drive down to 5 Corners Kitchen. Literal chef's kiss.
I was sorry to leave! Our sink was a size fit for a polite rabbit, but it was charming rather than challenging. I can't do it, I can't say anything negative! It was a lovely, too short stay.
Charming historic building, comfortable beds and a good continental breakfast.Wonderful accommodating staff.
It was everything we expected it to be. Lovely.
The grandeur of the hotel. The hotel is beautiful! If you love older homes and want the amenities of a hotel, The Hotel Marblehead is an ideal choice. The shower pressure was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
There are quite a bit of stairs which can be tricky with luggage. It looks like there are rooms on the first floor which minimizes the stairs. For me, the stairs are worth it.
The Hotel Marblehead is beautiful and historic. Loved the proximity to Salem, the very helpful staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.
The staff was amazing! They were very accommodating and we enjoyed talking with them. Beautiful home and central to many attractions and great restaurants.
We had no complaints about the facility or staff. Please note that they do not have elevators.
Location, comfort, and the sheets were exceptional!!
No elevator. Heavy luggage is hard to manage up and down the stairs.
The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Close to all activities. The breakfast was ok more like a Continental. The rooms were on the smaller size with not alot of space for chairs, etc. To be expected for the age of the house.
Nothing really. It was more on the expensive side but normal for this area
The location was good.
Unfortunately, this “hotel” is not as advertised. My daughter and I arrived after 5 pm, after staff had left for the day. We had been driving all day and were looking forward to a relaxing evening. My tiny room was dirty and cheaply decorated. There were zero amenities in the lounge area.Definitely not worth the almost $800 I prepaid for two nights! Our room was too warm and there was no AC. I tried to open a window but one was covered in plastic and the other had a second pane of glass inside which was filthy.I texted the phone number I was instructed to use if I needed anything. I asked for help with cooling the room. I waited two hours without a response - no one ever texted me back!Decided to stay somewhere else because of the poor room condition and lack of assistance. To this day, no one from Marblehead Inn has contacted me. It was a horrible experience and I lost a lot of money.Do not stay here!
Centrally located in a beautiful little town close to Salem, Concord, Lexington and Boston. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Beautiful historic home in a quiet neighborhood. Room was immaculate and. comfortable Staff was very friendly .Breakfast was delicious fresh fruit ,granola, yogurt, homemade breads and excellent coffee. (not big box fast food )… Yogurt served in mason jars with fresh fruit ready to mix in.)We were only in town for one night… But would definitely come here again!Ash and Deb were wonderful.
Ease of check in / check out. The room was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I was in room 1, the room itself was lovely but being right off the kitchen and common area was tough in the morning. There was little to no sound barrier and were woken up but guests and staff because it was so loud. If there were a fan or something to create a little white noise that would helped us to sleep a little better.
