Dormitory-style rooms at HI Boston hostel have individual lockers. Guests can choose between women’s, men’s, or all-gender accommodations. Private rooms boast private bathrooms. Guests of HI Boston hostel can meet new friends over a game of billiards in the game room or relax in the TV room. Grab and go snacks, drinks, and sundries are available for purchase on-site. Bike storage is available. Plenty of shopping and dining are within 5 minutes’ walk of HI Boston. Guests can enjoy organized activities that take them to tourist attractions and local hot spots. HI Boston can only honor online bookings of 9 guests maximum. If you have 10 or more guests in your booking, please contact the hostel as different policies apply.

Pros +

Clean, Fun activities, Friendly Staff, and decent breakfast options!
The location and the staff of this HI Hostel are great.
The hotel's location--with its proximity to shopping, theaters and Chinatown--is its best feature.

Cons -

Yes, it's a youth hostel, but one gets what one pays for.
Room AC was not very cool, walls are thin
I kind of wish that they grouped the rooms by age, I'm 18 and didn't feel super comfortable rooming with a couple elderly women
