    Cons -

    • Yes. When I first got there, the room they gave me was horrible!!!! ImIt was on the first floor with broken blinds so anyone can see right in. There is no place to hang clothing. The lock to the shared bathroom had been torn off!! Bed bugs!
    • This hotel is really really old and broken down and there?s a lot of unclean aspects.?moldy A/C, broken tiles, stained curtains, etc. No soap in the bathroom.
    • Shared space, other customers left front door open, not even latched let alone locked!

    Honestly, not much

It charged a for parking, and for a private bathroom. It's more like a rooming house. The bed was old, the TV remote didn't work.

    1Verified guestPosted on: 6-7-2024

    NOTHING. Everything was horrible.

Dirty carpets throughout. Cracked tiles and mold in bathrooms. Mattresses and pillows so thin and uncomfortable. Rooms were not secured well (shared closet with another room). No toiletries offered. Towels were smelly. Blinds were dusty and inoperable.

I like the location, love that there's parking Was comfortable

The floors and carpet was very dirty No mat in the restroom for stepping out the shower. Need a bit of upgrading

My flight home got bumped and I needed something cheap for the night. Older building. But the room was clean, comfortable, and warm. It was cheap and so I didnt expect luxury, but was pleasantly surprised at the comfort level for the price.

The location of the hotel was great it wasn¿t far from the venue we went up for the concert we came to Boston for

When we got to the hotel the bedding on the bed was dirty full of hair and whatever else. I felt uneasy that they wouldn¿t allow us to stay in the room while the housekeeper changed the bedding.

    Staff were helpful and welcoming.

Room small and smelly. Boston is a very expensive place to stay. This is a budget option, but even so, at over $--- per night, seems over priced for what it is. I would look elsewhere before staying again.

Staff was very nice and helpful room was very clean and quit

The location and surroundings businesses were all convenient, and the room was clean and secure.

The bed and shower were a little to short for me and there was a roach problem in the bathroom and communal kitchen.

I loved the location and ease of this hotel. Then the customer service was outstanding!!!

It was just hard for me to walk up to the 3rd floor, because I had hurt my leg. So it was painful. I managed, I just wish I had known it was so far up because I would have paid more money to stay somewhere else that had a elevator or only ground floor.

Took a late night, last-minute reservation when our flight landed much later than expected.

There was a door propped up with a chair under the knob so that it couldn¿t be opened from an adjacent room. This seemed a bit suspicious and unsafe.

This quaint inner city inn is reasonably priced and close to to everything. The staff is very helpful, rooms are clean, and comfortable. We loved it.

Since it is inner city, a loud car would go by but not enough to be a problem.

The room was reasonably affordable, compared to other companies in the Boston area. Very clean and comfortable. Professional service while checking in and out.

Being on a one-way street and I'm not familiar with the area. I never would have found it withour GPS.

Bare bones room. Just a bed.

Old room renovated in an old home

    1RichardPosted on: 9-26-2018

The paint peeling off the ceiling was really charming. The smell of mold and old cologne reminded me of a nursing home.

The hotel was pretty shotty all around. Clearly very little effort has been taken to keep it clean, tidy, or at all updated. It needs an overhaul and I feel as if I could get a much better deal for what I paid.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-7-2018

Friendly staff (it's family owned and operated)

It is an old inn, and in need of a good number of minor repairs, plus there are NO amenities, except wifi.

    2Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 7-13-2018

It was cheap, but not even the price made up for the deficits.

Filthy, noisy, spiders in shower, terrible bed, room like a college dorm room, not placed in main hotel but in rundown building nearby. Lamp broken.

    6MichaelPosted on: 1-30-2018

Location and friendliness of the staff. They were very conscious of my needs

    Right next to college housing
