La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sulphur (Lake Charles)

Lack of coffee extremely disappointing. Especially since the place was way too loud to sleep well. Decaf only was available in room and lukewarm instant coffee was available downstairs.

Bed was comfortable

Took a long time to check in. No coffee in room and only instant coffee out in lobby Room was dusty.

Cleanliness

Check in time was 3pm. I arrived at 3:40pm, my room was not ready. I reserved a King room and was given a double bed room, No hot water in shower, kids running in hallway at midnight, was woken up by mgmt and maintenance in the am to check on water.?.

The room was clean, the front desk attendant was super nice and helpful. I liked that the hotel wasnt too far off the highway to be an issue, but far enough away the traffic not to be heard. Id definitely stay here again.

The hot breakfast was decent, the biscuit bottoms were hard.

The room was exceptionally clean and the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

There was a variety of breakfast items, but a lot of them weren't fresh.

Breakfast was picked over and out of some of the hot items 45 min before ending and was not refilled. Front counter staff was outside smoking while we were there for breakfast.

Perfect location. Super comfy bed and amazing breakfast! We will definitely stay again.

Housekeeping was lacking. Didn’t clean bathroom. Sink was dirty. Just replaced towels and made bed. Second time staying here in a month, and housekeeping was the same.

Staff was friendly, continental breakfast was ok

Carpeting throughout the facilty smelled , the spring in the mattress was poking me

The breakfast was great as always. Plenty of choices. Hot and fresh! The hostess for the site is attentive and looking to make sure everything is there and full.

Coffee bar could use some maintenance, there is always an issue, this time there was no chocolate, so had to go to Starbucks for my macchiato.

Good for the value, not perfect but the breakfast made up for it.

Kitchen area was messy but may be due to families there. Shower low on body wash but extra bar soap in room.

We were enroute to Lake Charles when I received a phone call telling me that the hotel had been overbooked and we did not have a room. They did put us in touch with another hotel however we ended up returning home. I made that reservation about a month in advance so it’s hard to believe that my reservation should have been the one to be cancelled. Very disappointing.
