Lovely older hotel in a fantastic location

The hotel is showing its age in places, but it adds to the experience

The location was good.

Our room smelled like mildew. It had a bad odor the entire time we were there. The window covering wasn’t very good and let in light around the outside of the window. There was lighting on the outside of the building at night so there was light coming in all night. Also, there was only one window covering and there were rooms and windows right across from the our room. There was not a sheer drape that you could pull for privacy. So the window shade had to be down which made the room dark all day. You felt as if you were in a cave.

Location great. Rooms clean and well setup. Perfect for a hotel room. Great size bed, bathroom was great, enough room to be spacious, safe, fridge etc. Well designed room...has everything you need.Power outlets next to bed. Great.

Bloody Mary from bar was ordinary.Cold water tap didn't work and we asked to have fixed....but after 2 days still not fixed.Shower pressure a bit soft.

The property has great location! Nice design. We lived on the high floor, so we enjoyed the view! Staff was nice and welcoming!

Tea bags avaliable only for additional money

The aesthetic of the hotel is great! Location is very walkable and room was a nice size with great modern bathroom.

My room was on the 6th floor and I felt like I heard everything from the side street below especially garbage pickup at 4 am. The shared walls between the rooms definitely allowed noise to travel (its an old building which is part of the charm!). However, I'd only stay away with ear plugs.

Nice modern looking hotel and room. Nice size not too big. Safe area and relatively quiet.

Pillows were uncomfortable with cheap filling. The windows did not provide adequate noise insulation. The first night we were kept awake by cars playing loud base music, dumpsters emptying the trash and emergency service sirens. All sounded like we were in a tent outside.

Good location, rooms a decent size and nice bathroom.

Noisy air con was fixed only after asking twice. Hairdryer was faulty but was replaced promptly.

The team was extremely accommodating. I am perfectly satisfied with my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is great, the staff is very nice. The room wasn't super big but we only went there to sleep so it's not a complain.Location is great too, less than 10 min to Bourbon st or Jackson square, 25 to frenchmen street. We had a rental and used valet parking which is very convenient.

Car retrieval should have an app and not sending a text message, if you have a non american number it's a high cost message, but other than that all is good.

Good location just outside the FQ. Lovely friendly staff. Good sized room, comfortable bed. Nice bar area.

Gym is terrible; dirty and very dated with barely any equipment. Carpets in rooms were being cleaned the day I checked in, so I had to leave the room ten mins after getting in. Air conditioning was really loud, although this did get sorted once I addressed it with reception.A really small thing which is easily fixed; I don’t understand why housekeeping would make up a room and leave the toilet seat up?! Every day I came back to the room to find the seat up; as a solo female traveler, this is really quite gross, there is a reason I don’t travel with men and this is one of them!
