Set in a restored 1884 Victorian mansion, the Melrose Mansion is located in New Orleans' celebrated French Quarter on the historic Esplanade Avenue. It features an outdoor pool and provides direct access to Bourbon Street and the Riverwalk Marketplace. Large French windows open out on to spacious verandas overlooking the picturesque garden. Interiors at Melrose Mansion are entirely fitted with authentic antique furnishings. Boasting hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings, rooms combine a classic atmosphere with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and cable LCD TV. Some rooms include an all-marble bathroom with a spa bath or shower. We offer a free continental breakfast

Cons -
- There was no hot water when I was taken a shower
- Refrigerator not working.
- The bed was old and warped. We ended up checking out early due to how uncomfortable and horrible the sleep was. Also since its an old house, there was a lot of noise in room from the neighborhood, street, and other rooms.
