  • Clean bathroom.
  • The location was the best thing I liked about the Ranch House Motel in Marksville, LA.
  • Front desk staff was pleasant.

Cons -

  • It was grungy.
  • There was no closet to hang my clothes in and the bed was too small. I had requested a Queen size bed; but was given a double, although the room was non-smoking like I wanted.
  • The hotel room was very unclean. We ended up checking out due to the ac not working well and it smelled like mildew. No refund was given. The staff offered to move us to another room but I can't imagine it was any better. We declined. Terrible hotel.

Front desk staff was pleasant.
The hotel room was very unclean. We ended up checking out due to the ac not working well and it smelled like mildew. No refund was given. The staff offered to move us to another room but I can't imagine it was any better. We declined. Terrible hotel.

Nothing
I did not like anything about this hotel it was run down dirty musky smelling. There was a burn from the iron on the carpet in two different spots, burn marks from cigarettes on the refrigerator & the tub and the back of the toilet. I don't recommend
