- Looks old from the outside - it is. However, the rooms have all been renovated and are as good as new. A bit small, but clean and solid. Great water pressure in the shower. Comfy bed and pillows. Laundry room is clean with newer machines. Good WiFi.
- The host was so friendly and helpful. He was always present on the property constantly looking after things. Even though the buildings are older and established, the interior of the rooms have been completely renovated and look brand new & very clean.

Cons -
- I wish it were closer to a grocery store, but that wouldn't stop me from staying there again. If you're in Baton Rouge and looking for a bargain, this is it!
- It's really not near any amenities. You'll have to drive a few miles for decent food, etc.
- Barest room ever. No lamps. Only 2 pillows,budget mattress, dirty outside, huge potholes in parking lot. No coffee
