Hampton Inn and Suites Williamstown Ark Encounter

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We did have to pay a $7.00 per night parking fee! Why? They had their own parking lot, its not like they were in a large city and didn't have parking.

location was close to the Ark encounter where we were going and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The extra $7 parking charge was not expected or mentioned online. Sadly though, many motels we have stayed at the past couple years also charge for parking, usually much higher than $7; so it really isn't a ding against the motel.

Horrible place

We choose this because its closest to the ark. After getting to our rooms we were going to relax and watch TV then go to dinner. Our TV didnt have many channels at all. We even had one of the workers come up and he told us the channels were very limited.

It's proximity to the Ark Encounter

Yes. We had to call the front desk upon arrival due to dirty floors and drawers having potato chip crumbs in them. They came the next day to vacuum but it makes me wonder how clean the room really was.

Comfortable and quiet. Close to the Ark Encounter

There was a pile of hair on the floor of our room.

The computers were down so it took hours to get into a room. We couldn’t get into our room until after 9 pm. No discount on the room was offered

It?s in walking distance of the ark. Breakfast was also decent.

There weren?t gluten free or dairy free options at breakfast.

The staff was very friendly

The cleaning schedule was once for the four day stay. We were given towels and wash clothes for two days and then two more days. The bed linen.was not changed during our stay and no other cleaning was done.

Location Pet friendly Rooms

Requiring a pet deposit (all advertising on line or in the hotel says pet friendly no mention of a 50 dollar deposit in any printed literature ) I paid it Just wanted to see why the fee is not advertised.

Newly renovated looks great!

Upon checking in we noticed the tv remote did not work so therefore unable to use tv. Called desk, he came up said he would try to reprogram remote, give him 30 min. Over an hour passed called desk only to find out that guy was gone for the night.

It was very convenient to the Ark Encounter and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

There are no restaurants near.

I like the cleanliness and the location.

I do not like breakfast service. It was announced as an outstanding one, but it was far from it. The breakfast was never restocked and literally we were eating crumbs.. Unimpressive service.

Was a new hotel

I didn?t like being charged for parking they made us sit in the lobby for 15 minutes before they would check us in

The hotel was relatively new and very clean.

The TV in our room did not work and we were not able to watch Women's gymnastics at the Olympics. One employee who tried to get the TV to work commented that, "the TV has never worked correctly in Room 209 (our room) and that there was another room that

The room, cleanliness of the facility, and breakfast meals.

It started out with too few baths towels, but that was corrected.

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us! We needed to change rooms due to our group of people and they made it happen. Highly recommend. Breakfast was amazing and very clean atmosphere

The beds were good, and the room was quiet. My kids slept pretty well. The breakfast was really good too.

Yes.. The shower / bathroom - defective. I got this info to the front office since day one. Water had no pressure and was dripping all The time. Impossible to have a good shower

Cleanliness

The parking charge.

There is a $7 per night charge for the privilege of staying in their parking lot with your vehicle.

It was next door to the Ark we had to just walk across the parking lot to visit our destination
