Best Western Central City

Located at a convenient spot along the highway.

Very, very pronounced smell of marijuana when bringing our luggage in a side door to our room. Thankfully the odor was not as pronounced in the room. Also, there was hardly any breakfast left at 8:30 am. My kids had to share a pack of Poptarts.

The housekeeping and front desk workers were very kind and helpful.

I was unaware that the breakfast bar was served upstairs. There was a coffee bar and "grab and go" and that appeared to be all available. Maybe extra signage would have been helpful.

It was clean and tidy. Desk clerk was nice.

The complimentary coffee in the lobby was Luke warm at best. Vending machines weren’t restocked well.

The room was very nice and clean. The bed was clean and comfortable.

We were told pool did not pass inspection due to equipment issue.

The room could have been a lot better & breakfast considering it being a Best Western that we have used a lot.The room and covers smelled.My husband was gonna take a bath and black stuff was coming up out of the drain. No extra toilet paper just what was on the roll that we ran out of. It was loud. The breakfast at 8am had a few pieces of bacon, a spoon of eggs, no bread, no biscuits no one working it.

At check-in and checkout, I had to wait forever and ring the bell for anybody to bother to come. The shower was dirty. It was so complicated to try to figure out the TV never have. I worked even in foreign countries one that was so complicated to figure out the channels. It shouldn’t have been that way. The pillows were four tiny throw pillows on the bed. Two of them together might make one standard pillow very uncomfortable. After two years there’s still a hole in their parking lot. We stayed there two years ago. They say it’s a Cinco, but it’s never sank anymore. Got any better in the city said they just can’t figure it Out. You have to drive around barricades in the parking lot and the swimming pool is still closed and has been for two years what’s the point of saying you have one if you never use it just fill it in! The shower also had holes in it that had been patched. And in the photos you can see bright white spots in the tub that was the only clean spots in it. The hotel needs updating desperately.

Location & staff were both good

Difficult operating tv, lamp bulbs out, pillows uncomfortably, room was extremely Cold upon check in and didn’t warm up much with change in temperature control. Breakfast was not much

close to highway. price was reasonable. place to eat next door

towels were flimsy (only one bath towel!) hair in the bathtub

Wouldn’t recommend

The room I booked was supposed to have a sofa bed too and didn’t have one. House keeping only made one of the beds each day and didn’t replace the towels.

Decent hotel, friendly staff, comfortable bed.

It was a bit costly.

Higher end beds and linens. Furniture and appliances were nice.

Not far off highway. Convenient meals within walking distance from hotel. Good value. Our room had a spa tub in it that was wonderful. Spacious bathroom as well.

The bed was a bit hard and pillows were uncomfy.
